Bummed they didn't have this half price in the recent good guys logitech deal.

    • yeah… Thanks mate.. i will update this as well :)

  • Pretty sure there was a Driving Force Shifter deal posted earlier as well …

  • Does anyone have experience with the older Logitech wheels (G27) and the converter for the newer generation of consoles?

    • +1

I have one of the convertors, but have only used it to use xbox controller on ps4. Reviews/forums imply that it will work fine with that wheel though. I have the cronusmax.

  • $287 if you have access to a rewards program with 5% off HN gift cards.

  • Want one so bad but just can't justify the price (particularly as you have to make a choice between Xbox and PS), and I know I'll be disappointed in the cheaper versions. :/

    • You can buy a convertor that will allow you to use it on either console.

I haven't used it with a wheel, but works fine using xbox controller on ps4.

      • Yeah, totally. I've actually looked into that a bit and it seems the 'DriveHub' by the same people is the final word in steering wheel converters between platforms. The mapping of steering, force feedback, etc is 1:1, and compatibility is great.

        http://shop.cronusmax.com/drivehub.html

I've actually been thinking of picking up an older G25/G27 or Thrustmaster as they're apparently all basically the same technology and haven't changed much over the years.

Could be a more cost effective entry point as a multi-console owner…

      • I also own a CronusMax and whilst it does work, it does occasionally disconnect and it's a tad finicky for me having to plug in a USB hub with the original controller/etc. But that being said, it's cheaper/easier/more space-efficient than buying multiple wheels!

        EDITed for clarity

        • Has it always disconnected? I've been using mine for about a month and it hasn't disconnected. Only thing that annoys me is that I can't use remoteplay while it's plugged in. I have to walk down and unplug it (if I'm home). If I forget and I'm away, I'm out of luck.

        • @shamowfski: Just intermittently. Not really sure why but it happened in less optimal times like during online gaming.

      • if you are going to buy the converter don;t forget to apply the 10% voucher
