I recently ordered books from the Book Depository, and they came with a link (http://audible.com.au/book_dep) to get TWO free audiobooks for new subscribers, which is one better than the standard sign on deal.

Note: the link may not work for some of you, in which case you have to:

  1. Create an amazon.com.au account and link a debit/credit card to it.
  2. Call audible on 1800 736 910, tell them the Book Depository link is not working, and they will apply two free credits.
  3. Enjoy.

The above steps worked for me.

After the first month, you will be signed up to a membership for $16.45 per month. If you don't like the service you can cancel before the first month ends and still keep the books you downloaded.

      Yea for some reason the link does not work for some people - follow the instructions in the description and you will still be able to get it!

    The current trial on the Audible US site is offering two free audiobooks (two credits) as well. No link or call needed.

      Are you sure? I just tried to sign up and got up to the part where they ask for your credit card and it mentioned that there was 1 credit for the first 30 days so I didn't end up continuing. This link seems to suggest there was such a promotion but ended on 15/02/18?

        Yep. Try going through amazon.com, that's how I came across it. I just opened a page using incognito and the offer still appears to be active. I purchased a book using the free trial and still have an extra credit to spend. Screenshot of offer on Amazon https://imgur.com/a/fBp5L
