Used to use those $15 Aldi universal remotes. But the amount of time and trouble it took to program. Not being able to learn from some remotes, screen difficult to read and the buttons wearing out quickly. Was not worth it. Considering for not much more you can get a Logitech which is so much easier to program, and never has any trouble learning from other remotes. Makes life so much easier. After making the switch, always use Logitech from now on.

I am pretty sure this would work, if you live near a Bing Lee (these are in NSW) you can buy one of these for $20.30 if you pick up in store and order online, choosing the pick up in store option and applying LOG30OFF discount code (30% off all logitech stuff till dec 19). ok, so if you just want one remote shipped @binglee then its better to use the FSHIPLESS25 coupon (you only seem to be able to apply one coupon). Any other option and the 30% is the better deal.
additional info about FSHIPLESS coupon, need to be registered to use it, need to get to the screen where you choose shipping type(dont choose paypal initially if that want you want to use) and it will be $0, then you'll have the option of card or paypal

Not a bad price for a Harmony 515, cheapest on StaticIce is $29.95 without postage! I just bought one, thanks. While it's a great little unit, I'm sick of having to manually reprogram all the buttons on my ALDI learning remote every time I swap VCRs or media boxes or TVs then learn where all the buttons are. I still can't get my ALDI remote working with FOXTEL IQ, it doesn't seem able to learn from the new remote. The new Harmony 515 should make my life a bit less complicated.
