Just went to pick it up at bankstown. They had 5 of em on the desk waiting to be picked up lols. Mite sell out soon…
Same thing at the Belconnen store this morning. The girl at the counter was a bit puzzled as to why they'd received so many orders for them. She said that they had oversold their stock and were looking for more stock at other stores to fulfill orders.
The charger is handy for trips away. Small and light, USB connection, and handy to trickle charge the traveling eneloop.
This isn't a trickle charger, it's a timed charger. Trickle chargers are much less harmful to batteries than timed chargers.
The usual definition of trickle charger is one that takes 24 hours or longer. At that charging rate, overcharging doesn't cause the batteries to overheat, so the batteries won't be damaged unless you forget and leave them charging for a long time. Old-style emergency lights with Nicad batteries were usually trickle charged, and the batteries in them lasted about a year under continuous charge.

Is this a good deal. I bought some recently and seriously it felt like I snagged a deal and for awesome batteries bit within second people were saying the supermarket ones are am good. Is eneeloop repackaged in other brands!.?
IIRC the quality is worse than it used to be, but the made in Japan ones are still good quality.
Thing is, Ikea LADDA batteries are Japanese eneloops, but only $2 each.
