If you want to change the Kogan logo to something better, buy here Dick Smith logo sticker, https://www.redbubble.com/people/mozdesigns/works/4487817-ri…

    • That's funny. How's Dick Smith's face any better than the Kogan logo? Hahaha…

    • Shame Dick only comes in small.

    • Deal modified

  • Anybody can manufacture machanical keyboard nowadays

Not the one that can type correctly though.

      • Ha!

      • what? any owner of this kogan keyboard here? feedback please

All the cheap ones have that butt ugly font on the keys.

      • +1

oh shit! just saw that photo. the font is so ugly, my eyes must hurt like hell when the rbg lights blinking!

  • But what is Gaote/Otemu switch? Are they any good?

    • Not if it's blue…

      • Blues are great providing sound isn't an issue

    • Otemus are good. Cherry clones don’t mean they’re bad, in fact I’d say Gaterons and Otemus are better than cherry imo.

Any video for putting Corsair or Razer sticker?

Do they sell these with quieter keys?

    • +3

BLUE SWITCHES ARE QUIET ENOUGH FOR ME!

      • Yours caps lock key might be broken.

    • Not at this price. Kogan did see one in the past. No one knows if/when it will be back

  • Anyone have used this silicone O-Ring dampeners before?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/120X-Mechanical-Keyboard-Keycap-…

They claims to limit noise on keys and provide faster actuation with smooth key bounces

I haven't used orings before but:

It will reduce your bottom out noise. But make it feel mushy when you hit bottom.

You can search youtube for videos of how a keeb will sound with and without orings

    • Had a set of these with my keyboard. Not really help with the noise.

  • Blue switches aren't normally recommended for gaming, something more linear (ie reds) is probably a better choice.

  • Quick review

Feels a bit tall, ( OEM profile I think )
Nice braided cord, but non removeable
Switches feel smooth,no stem scratching with nice activation click
    Solid metal plate, hefty build

    Fonts are a bit naff
Keycaps are passable (Double shot ABS?)
