After the changes in the booking process that came into effect for bookings after January 20, 2018, K class now earns 50% miles. Previous bookings still earn at the 10% level.

  • Fare from Adl to HK, fly with Sigapore Airline is still $7xx. I have tired 3 different sets of travel period all departure before 8 Nov.

Hi mate. i have provided a couple of dates to choose from and hopefully make your life easier. Check your email. Let me know if you need anything else further.

  • Every time I look at these flight deals, I can't find anything anywhere near what is quoted. I tried all dates i September but prices are 50% to 100% dearer than quoted above.

    • Hey mate. Where are you departing from?

Send me a message and I will find dates that work for you. Like I have done with the question asked above.

  • want to go HK around 11th to 17th of Apr, no where could i find a reasonable price…have been compared all recent sales as well… sad, all sales start from the 20th apparently

    • School holidays my friend. I see you reside in Sydney. Plenty of availability after the 30th April, which incidentally is the first day of the new school term.

      • thanks

  • Anyone been in May looking at 21st-28th. Apparently it rains a lot. Is it gonna be a heavy down pour or just a light drizzle?

OP quoted: Victoria Peak – Situated atop the highest point on Hong Kong Island offering incredible views.

I'm in Hong Kong for the year studying, there are way better hikes than Victoria Peak. Victoria Peak is very very touristy, so many other beautiful hikes, where there is more scenery and more "nature" if that makes sense.

    • Can you suggest other hike place in Hong Kong?

OOOO, to be honest, google would be your best friend (because there's seriously SO many, and i havent done many due to uni commitments, but I will get around to all of them soon). I've done lions rock (arrived during sunset, seriously SO SO BEAUTIFUL!) so definitely do that. Make sure when you get to the top, to jump on the big fat rocks and get to the TOP TOP (you'll understand what i mean when you are there)

Suicide cliff is amazing for pictures (and also in general), like seriously it's amazing, be prepared for a hike though, I mean that day the group did 16km lol (we got lost at one point) but yes it's amazing!

I've heard dragon's back is easy and good too! so definitely try that out. Sai Kung beach is pretty cool (has some awesome hiking parts around there) and you literally see nothing but beaches, it is a little far though - all day type of journey.

Again, google is your best friend, there are so so many diff hiking spots here.

The only issue for me anyway is with Hong Kong, the weather is generally overcast (at least lately), so when it's overcast, there is no sunset, sunrise etc to be seen. Pictures aren't as good either, so I'm not sure when you are coming, but definitely pray for clear sunny skies!

If you need any other recommendations like accom area wise or nightlife wise, or how to get from airport to whatever wise, banking and $ cash out stuff, just reply here and i'll happily reply.

Excuse the grammar, am studying for mid terms so not paying total attention to grammar. I'm doing uni for the year here in HK

        • Thanks mate for details.

I am planning to come to HK on last week of April for 1 week. As it's my first time in Hong Kong, I will cover all tourist spot along with some hiking trails. Hopefully weather won't play big part.

Accommodation is sorted. Would be great if you could suggest some place for nightlife and also how to carry cash (I mean covert at hk or from Sydney) or credit card would be enough? Understand some cash would be needed for street shopping.

  • Not really worth the SG stop unless you're looking to boost SC. Virgin + Qantas deals have often been around that $550-$600 mark and it's direct.

    • Not if you are flying from Adelaide, Canberra or Perth. Comes down to preference over airline and transit point then. SQ and Singapore wins every time.

P.s if you feel like doing two cities, I'm finding Syd > Singapore > HK > Sydney for about $700 - $750 return on Singapore airlines using the above date ranges.

    • I was thinking the same although I found $630-670 in late May early June.

  • Hi - I also can't seem to find this deal anywhere - looking for flights from Sydney to Hong Kong? Thanks!

    • what are your dates? I will have a look for you.

      • Thanks so much - around 24 April to 29 April?

        • Cant leave 24th for this price, but plenty of availability around that date. Do you want to send me a PM with some alternative dates?

        • @flightfinderau: Can't seem to PM you! Thanks so much - does 20th to 24th/25th work? or like 25th to 29th/30th? Thanks for checking

        • @travelmate123: How about you email me: [email protected]

28th/29th to anytime in May works fine. The dates you mentioned don't seem to work unfortunately.
