  • Is there one with a sensor?

Aldi has a 30w LED version with censor for 39.99

      Censored.

I sense what you did there.

Somehow i sensed a false sense of security with this product

        • @bonz: nice catch.. Bunnings Typo.. ;-)

    • The Aldi light broke very quick for me. The light would sensor on, but never turn off. We would come home and the bright ass light would have been on for hours. Don't have receipt so binned it.

      • thanks the info. mine is going a strong for the last 4 days. j still got the receipt.

Only 850 lumens. The old-style ones are ten times that.

    • +2

But at 20 times the power requirements (at least, some are 40 times that).

Still better to get LED, even if you get a dual light set up for larger areas.

This is pretty good pricing actually!

I picked up a few LED IP65 floods from Bunnings about a few months back for almost $30 (and I thought that was cheap considering the other stock on shelf for around that price was the old school 200-400W floods. That's a huge difference in energy usage to these 10w ones. Love LED!

Easy to hard wire into an existing lighting circuit too (usual disclaimer of must be done by licensed electrician applies here), so don't be too concerned with the power plug hard wired like in the above picture.

    • Most places out of stock - ozbargained?

  • Any recommend on a rechargeable version?

EDIT: Any one has one of these? Any good? https://sydneytools.com.au/bayer-bpl70-70-led-rechargable-po…

    • If it doesn’t say how many lumens it probably isn’t that good.
