For exactly what bodily process or function, might one need to use “exit” soap?

      • +1

Idk i just thought it was a good item based on Amazon reviews ( got redirected from dove soap bar)

And i didn't really wanna go through effort of putting all deal description etc (like for a normal deal), i just thought its a good deal and wanted to share the link and item name, price that's all

      • +3

Exit Soap is usually for stain removal (e.g. rub on clothes) rather than to clean bodily parts, afaik.

sigh…. here we go … can someone do the honours…
i'll kick us off … "thanks OP bought _____"

    • Tempting…how would it compare with Naim Muso 2?

      • Naim is slightly brighter in the treble (harsher to my ears), Sonus Faber has a wider sound stage and more clarity IMHO. It might come down to personal preference. They're pretty close.

        • Picked the Omnia due to the eARC connection (I need a soundbar). Thank you for your comment.

Don't know why it's moved to "insufficient quantity" as there are plenty lying around the country. I actually ordered it via Len Wallis in Sydney even though they have no stock.

    • Google and you’ll see this is the same price at multiple vendors. Just FYI.

    • It's quite a nice thing, I'm actually tempted at that price… early xmas pressie to self.

    Microsoft Modern Webcam - $22 from CEX/Webuy (used) https://au.webuy.com/product-detail?id=889842758511&category…

I see some of the webcam deals on here and I'm surprised how much people are paying.

I got one of these and it's a good quality 1080p webcam with a privacy cover. Mine didn't come with a box or anything, but it otherwise appeared to be as good as new. Possibly unused office stock? Don't know how much you could ask for, really. YMMV of course.

  • Citizen Promaster Marine BN0165-55L Eco-Drive 200m $371 Delivered @ Creation Watches
Seems like only 2 in stock when I added to basket, but may be good for someone.

    https://www.creationwatches.com/products/citizen-74/citizen-…

RRP AU $675 AU $390 ($371 with code HOLIDAY)
Note that Creation Watches seems to be grey imports, some people care (I don't particularly, and the QC is better than Seiko).

This is a great price on a new JDM Citizen with stainless steel band and new diver's extension clasp.

I picked this 'Ice Blue' up last week when Watches Galore had it for ~$425 (price matched @ Bevilles).
Also comes in Pearly Grey, BN0167-50H, I don't see that one on CW though.

  • Merged from [QLD] Roborock S7 MaxV $699 (was $888) Instore @ Harvey Norman Bundall
    Go to Deal

2 weeks ago I saw the S7 MaxV on display at Harvey Norman in Bundall (Gold Coast), clearance for $888. Pondered enough, came in this morning to buy it and suddenly they're offering it for $699. Sales guy was amused to see my surprised face.

No idea if they are offering it for the same crazy reduced price in other stores in QLD or rest of Australia, but maybe if you check with another store (or ask another retailer entirely) they can match it. The Bundall store had 8 units left 2 weeks ago and as of this morning still around 5 left. Not surprising considering they advertise it as "clearance" for $1399 online! https://www.harveynorman.com.au/roborock-s7-max-v-robotic-va…

Combine it with Roborock Australia's $599 Ultra dock (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/813062, went out of stock a couple times but is currently back in stock) and you'll end up with the complete Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra for $1298.

    • That’s a bargain!
Too bad I got my Q Revo already :(
s7 max v ultra is still the best

      • it really is! beats s8

      • Why is the S7 MaxV Ultra better? Doesn't it have older mop technology and a more expensive dock (without heating)?

        • +2

youtube videos will show this. better watch them to learn more.

          • +1

@mr_asstight: I can't see any reviews where the s7 max Ultra is that much better than a q revo.

Sure small differences, but overall similar.

            • @kulprit: @kulprit I assume you're mistaking the S7 Max for being the same product as S7 MaxV. They're not. S7 MaxV has the superior object avoidance of any Roborock product.

    • +3

Will any store in Vic price match?

      • +1

        I wonder the same

        • @Yankyviking @cyber9uy any luck?

    • What's the difference between this and a S5 max?

      • More expensive

      • +2

Mop vibrate, mop rise, optional docking station, object detection with front camera.

        • +1

Thank you appreciate it. had my s5 a few years and still going strong so not sure worth the upgrade :(

          • @adrianhughes1998: I’m in the same boat, but with the s5 non-max. Plus my lidar unit is on the blink intermittently & a spare has been on order for a couple of weeks now…
Seeing as I live nowhere near the Goldy, I’ll hold off for a deal closer to me..

          • +1

@adrianhughes1998: The biggest difference IMO is the mop raising feature. Can theoretically do the house in one run if it's a mixture of hardfloors, carpets and rugs.

            • @mrvaluepack: Nice, my s5 max when the mop is attached doesn't go in certain rooms (that I've marked as no go mop zones), but would go in those rooms if there wasn't the mop bracket attached . Guess would make sense if there was tiles in one room mixed with carpet but there isn't so yeah..

Tried to price match it in store at HN and they couldn’t do it as it’s just way too cheap. Guy explained that the price goes into “negative commission” when it’s that low and it’s a loss for the store.

      • @WowBargain Thanks for the info! Well the deal was already moved to "insufficient quantity" so I guess that's appropriate.
But it probably still depends on the manager. For clearance items, I assume some may not care about going negative, as long as the stock is cleared at all, as sometimes happens with car dealers at the end of a calendar year.

    • +2

Sadly none left at Bundall. HN wouldn't price match over live chat and the only other local store that has it in stock is Burleigh for the regular website price.

      • Bummer! Same city and double the price, I don't get it tbh

      • There's no way the other stores will sell out their MaxV stock for that price. You could try visiting the Burleigh store every few weeks to check if they lower the price. When it reaches <1000, ask for stock level and then wait another few weeks ;)

How good is the quality during the day though?

          • +3

@itsmoe: Thats subjective but with a proper UST screen (apparently included) and some basic daytime light control like no direct sunlight on the screen and nearby blinds employed the image is going to be good.

          • +6

@itsmoe: people buying this probably have a dedicated multimedia room with block out curtains and aircon.

          • +5

@itsmoe: Included ALR Screen – The Series L9H is perfectly paired with an ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen which means you don’t have to kill the lights to get a killer picture.

            • @Ozgrabber: Typically, are ALR screens that are included rollable or it's a panel that needs to be fixed onto a wall?

        • -3

Kogan is selling a 98" 4K QLED for 3,499 dollars, even 98 inch is a bit of an over kill tbh.

          • +9

@itsmoe: Not everybody calls 98 inch overkill. To me thats small compared to my 130 inch projected image.

          • -1

            @itsmoe:

How good is the quality during the day though?

Apparently it's ok, but a projector will never be as good as a TV. Better suited to low ambient light environments.

even 98 inch is a bit of an over kill tbh.

Not really up for us to judge what's overkill or not. It may suit some people, especially in larger rooms

            • +2

@beltdrive: Also, at least in my household… we rarely watch TV during the day… most of the time TV is used is 5pm onwards…

              • -1

@muddrex: You should definitely buy one then. :)

          • +3

@itsmoe: If you've ever had a home cinema you know no size can be overkill

            • @lookingforadeal7: That is true, but this is OZbargain, not everyone here is gonna have a cinema room. Just saying.

          • +2

            @itsmoe: Kogan warranty..yuk
