[NSW] Lunar Film Fest Free Outdoor Cinema @ Harbourside Darling Harbour Sydney 15th-17th February 2018

80

My idea of Asian cinema would be the likes of Seven Samurai, Harakiri or classic Bruce Lee but this is a free event so may as well take advantage

Lunar Feast on Films
WHEN
15 - 17 February
TIME
4.30pm - 10pm
WHERE
Harbourside Amphitheatre
OUTDOOR CINEMA
Free

Celebrate CNY at Harbourside with Koi Dessert Bar, Tsuru and our outdoor cinema!

Held over three nights from Thursday, 15th February to Saturday, 17th February, Lunar Feast on Films will screen an epic line-up of classic Asian films, including martial arts action film House of Flying Daggers and family favorite Kung Fu Panda. For the full movie line-up see below.

KOI Dessert Bar will be popping up with an array of themed desserts – think mousse cakes and signature sweets, each looking like a piece of art; and Tsuru will serve up their signature freshly-steamed baos, including the roast duck and lychee, chilli tofu and eggplant sambal. Don't miss their amazing dessert bao with salted chips, vanilla ice cream and drizzled honey butter sauce. Is your mouth watering yet?

Movie-goers looking to feast before the film are in the perfect location too, with modern Asian fusion and Chinese restaurant Dragon Boat in Harbourside Shopping Centre serving up an exotic Chinese New Year banquet featuring steamed scallops with XO sauce, stir-fried mud-crab and braised pork trotters with black moss.

We will also be exhibiting a large-scale display of Chinese lanterns at the Harbourside dome in their popular food court on Level 1, the perfect spot for a photo opportunity.

Luna Feast on Films is a FREE event and is first come first served so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

So basically only 1 film which is actually Asian cinema.

Spirited away shouldn't count as the Japanese don't even follow the lunar calendar.

  • Kung Fu Panda… Rush hour… Karate Kid… WTF… holy crappo
