Basic only which includes ads. Getting in before the next season of White Lotus. You don't need to pay for the whole year to get it for this price each month so I guess can cancel anytime.

Not sure as I came accross it randomly on Facebook. Worth trying I guess. Just have to click on the link with /blackfriday at the end.
are the ads during program material or between?
On-demand content is ad-free in Standard and Premium
Yes
During, from memory if im watching a ~40 min episode I would get 2-3 minutes of ads, this was earlier this year so Im not sure how much it would have changed since then
It varies GREATLY.
90 Day Fiance, a show as stupid as it sounds, is something the missus chucks on in the background here and there. Doesn't get any ads.
Curb Your Enthusiasm, which I've slowly been working my way through for a while, gets a minute and a half (4/5 ads) on startup, and then every commercial break if I'm lucky that, if not, 2 full minutes. I can recite the bald sports bet guys script entirely at this point. Per 40 ish minute ep, I'll have no less than 6 minutes ads as a bare minimum.
Your milage will vary
Cheers, sounds like a no for me….
90 Day Fiancé is an American reality television series on TLC that follows couples who have applied for or received a K-1 visa, which allows foreign fiancés of US citizens to enter the United States with the requirement to marry within 90 days.
Couples often face challenges such as language barriers, culture shock, and skepticism from friends and family.
Sounds like a great show… Thanks for the recommendation.
@jv: tbh it's not half bad for a laugh in the background. Some of the couples are (profanity) mental.
Not worth it w/ the ads IMO…had the same deal a few months back through commbank yello but it was for the standard version 3 months
You don't need to pay for the whole year to get it for this price each month so I guess can cancel anytime
Was on the fence doing this, tempted to keep accepting their 2 dollar a month rejoin emails they keep sending and or go back to trial after trial. Knowing I can bail whenever, I might do this, cheers OP
Unlike netflix, there are lots of ads
The ads are usually better than the show.
HBO Max is expected to be launching in Australia by mid 2025, so shows like The White Lotus might not be on Foxtel/Binge for much longer.
Great… Paying for the privilege of watching advertising diarrhea just like the bad old days for Foxtel .. no thanks… there are other alternatives that this sort of behaviour by streamers unfortunately only encourages.
The ads are out of control with binge basic. I wouldn't pay for the service again
Cheers OP - can finally stop paying Fetch $6 a month for my parents to watch UKTV (and switch them to an Nvidia Shield).
The only reason im considering it , ditch my last doco fetch sub thats $6 that isnt worth it now.
How bad are the ads now on basic , last trial probably a year ago was just on the verge of annoying.
At least this is cheaper than the annual one and can stop it anytime.
I only did a quick bit of testing with UKTV catch-up when setting it up for my folks, and it was playing a thirty second ad before each episode.
Got the offer - seriously considered it but the comments here have me second guessing
Ad's nope
no deal on the main subs.. dumb..
shame there's no good offersI just saw the cashback deals with cashrewards on the link above, i mean it's not 100% clear if works for returning customer or not.. the "terms" say new subscribers.. but figured mine ran out last night so i'm new again?
Annual basis 150 down 45, makes it better.. just no guarantee on the cashback is the concerns…I was looking at that as well but decided not to do it as I would not be happy paying $150 for it…. ~105 I could live with…. let me know if you find out anything
cashback tracked but also had an anzplus offer as well but that doesn't seem to have worked cause the app is shit
@xdivino: Just spotted someone else did. Whats the confidence the 45 will be paid, thats the downside.
I'd also assume that if it didnt say returning is excluded, then its ok. Grab a screen shot of the terms now before they go away.
Then spotted this term in special conditions
"Cashback will only be paid when new subscribers pay for at least 2 months of Binge membership."
Lodged a query with cashback, hear back in 3 business days…
Binge has just started televising live sport.
Much better than dead sport. That’s really boring.
Much better than dead sport.
I'd prefer dead sport that watching Australia's pathetic performance at the cricket yesterday.
Does anyone know how much AFL will be broadcast on Binge next year?
It's literally the only reason why I have Kayo. I'm hoping a combination of channel 7 and Binge coverage will be enough to now have to renew Kayo at $350.
From their media release:
Men’s Big Bash League, Super Netball, and, come winter, NRL and AFL footy on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays (simulcast games)Thanks.
I've also found this too. Sucks that there'll be no free to air on Saturday

Will be targeted imo
