This seemed like a big discount. Way to big for my place.
It is 5999 at binglee
And appliance online seems to have forgotten that they are suppose to be a cheap online store.
Hope this helps someone with the space and $$.

You know what they say about having a big screen?
That you have a big picture.
I just want a 82" OLED screen with decent HDR and 400Hz refresh rate for under 2K… is this asking too much even?
Well, that's what I want til they release something better and more expensive and then I'll 'just want' that instead.
Wait ten years.
I want a holodeck..
Oh sorry! I read "i" instead of "e".
I actually was keen on this model and before this deal, cheapest I could find it was around $6k so this seems like a great deal.
(That being said, I ended up just going 75" during eBay Boxing Day Sales and TGG for $2500)
Would this be the cheapest 82" tv going around?
Just got this for someone I do work for a whole 2 days ago from jb hifi @ 5900, hasn't even installed it but managed to destroy the box. Kind of frustrating… going to see what refund options there are.
I like JB Hi-Fi, but they suck when it comes to refunds. Harvey Norman has a 7 day price match guarantee.. not sure if any of them would do it for Costco though, since they're a membership warehouse.
We actually got a partial refund, took in the picture in this post, manager had to check with the costco and as it's not listed in OP (Auburn), I had to work it out, then he was fine to price match it and give a refund for the difference, so around $1000 back.
Holly molly that's a big screen!!
If you watch a DVD on this TV the pixels will be the size of 20c coins.
I sit 3m away from the TV would this tv be a good choice or a 75".
I am currently using a 50" 1080p Plasma.
Go as big as you can afford. With TV's (and content) now at UHD and higher, you have far less issues with being "too close" and eye fatigue.

Basically, at 3m with 1080p and higher, you're fine :).
Need this in my life
Good deal . HN and JB can not beat Costco - theirs best price is $5300 .
Only reason to pay this much for TV is to show off your epeen.
