whilst not a Choice-recommended toilet paper, those who truly love their bum and skin should be using hypo-allergenic ones instead, not others such as Quilton (and of course not Cottonelle)

I agree with you. I've tried most of them and these are the best in all ways! Strong and soft.
Sorbent I always found to break on the roll, plus they give you less sheets per roll. Some of their cheaper offers are terrible.
The best cost/quality compromise now is Quiltron or the Aldi/Coles/Woolies generic 24 big packs are very good. Those generics seem all the same and are very good.
but coles still axing too many lines and replacing them with what woolys sells.
Since competition revolves around differentiation increasingly Coles strategy closely resembles collusion.
And way too many prices now virtually the same - including specials.
I don't get why Choice didn't rate the Sorbent Hypoallergenic - I think it's superior to all others. Very strong / low breakability, soft but adequately textured for … efficacy, and not polluted with vile factory-fresh scents.
This is a good price … rarely goes below 50c a roll.
