The ultra-compact with interchangeable lens

The new α NEX-5 and NEX-3 deliver interchangeable lens creative freedom and SLR class image quality in a stylish, ultra-compact package.

Choose from dedicated E-mount lens for wide-angle, standard zoom, high power zoom shooting, and optional ultra-wide angle and fisheye converters. Plus, an optional mount adaptor lets you use the full range of Sony α system A-mount lens, including the digital SLR lens lineup.

To qualify for the $100 cash back, an eligible NEX-3 or NEX-5 Interchangeable Lens Camera must be purchased from a participating Sony Australia Authorised Dealer between 29 October 2010 and 4 January 2011, and registered online within fourteen days of purchase. Proof of purchase documents must be received within fourteen days of online registration.

  this is true, I just bought a Sony Alpha NEX-5 Digital SLR Camera BLACK Twin Lens Kit from www.topbuy.com.au (they have the cheapest found so far, $763.25). Although camera arrived from HongKong by DHL, quality is exactly same as you can find in Myer. Then, applied for sony promotions with receipt and got $100 back in two weeks! it really works, happy and enjoying the product.

    I probably would not count on the promotion, maybe yours slipped through. I would have thought the $100 back would only be for genuine Australian supplied stock, rather than Parallel imported stock.

    You got a good deal is for sure :)

      I checked the claim and it asks for store and if not listed the suburb … pulled a swifty?

        I was not quite sure if I would be eligible for cashback but gave a try and hit the shot! when asked for stores, did put 'not listed' anyway it worked for me. I later when to check and compare mine with the one in Myer store, found both are made in Thailand and exactly same. topbuy.com.au also provides local warranty as they say. Does the job perfectly, couldn't care much
