You can buy a fake Milanese loop for like a fiver from China. I've got a gold coloured one and everyone thinks it's real. Because I'm so used to the fake I'm probably in a better position to tell the difference between a genuine one and a knockoff than most people. I bet the genuine one is quite a step up and has a much better finish to it or whatever, just not $205 worth of step up.
