Time to take advantage of AUD being stronger against USD. I dont know if this is the cheapest price ever but seems good enough price to jump ship.

Cheapest price ever was $399 with the 360 camera too. Don't know if it will ever be that cheap again.

    • what bands does it support, not much info on amazon.

      • Most phones cover more bands that network support being a new phone you wouldn't have any issues, old photos only use to support 2-4 bands

      • GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
        UMTS 850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz
        LTE (FDD) Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 20, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30
        LTE (TDD) Bands 38, 39, 40, 41
        Data LTE-A Pro Cat 16 (1000/150 Mbit/s)

FYI I Bought this when it was on sale a while ago. The screen cracked after I dropped it and I emailed them. There is no way to repair the screen. They offer an exchange for 200USD however it must be sent in and out of the USA. In other words if this breaks you are on your own.

ouch, that's an expensive lesson. How was the camera?

looks like it as designed that way

      • Yeah I was happy with the camera. The black and white photos are amazing (if that's your thing). The colour ones are good but probably not as good as other (twice the price) flag ships. I haven't tried sideloading the pixel camera app which apparently makes a difference.

      • I guess you compare that price to other full screen phone screen replacements, bee a while but I remember iphone6 plus screens beering $250+ to repair when they were new and they were not fullscreen designs, but we're curved on the edges which made them cost more.

Bought this phone last year for about the same price. It's not perfect - but I'm very happy with it.

Also go a screen protector and a cheap case (alibaba) at that time .. that was crap …literally just received a much better one to replace it I bought on Amazon a week ago and the fit and feel is excellent - its still on sale for now too https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077FJL8H2/

  • This is very similar in spec to the Nokia 8,but I think I prefer the latter. Is there any reason this would be better? I am guessing this phone runs pure Android but Nokia seems to be promising a similar lightweight/relatively quickly updated system

    • better body to screen ratio, larger screen, higher resolution, better design.
