    Free now, any costs later?

  • The inspection may be free but what are the other costs?

    • like most free inspections im sure they will find lots of small issues they can help you resolve at a fee

  • So what happens if we pass on the first go? Free certificate?

    • Title says "Inspection".

"At Pool Safety Solutions, we value transparency and have made sure there are no hidden fees or surprises.

If your pool does not require a re-inspection, a fee of $49.00 + GST will apply to provide the NSW pool certificate of compliance.

We will issue a ‘Certificate of non-compliance’ also within 12 hours of completion with a detailed report of how your pool barrier does not comply, including photos and an explanation of exactly what is needed to obtain your pools certificate.

Once your pool barrier is ready to be re-inspected, simply contact our team or book-in online. Once the $330+GST re-inspection fee is paid, one of our inspectors will contact you to confirm the inspection.

Again, once your pool is compliant, a fee of $49.00 + GST will apply to provide the NSW pool certificate of compliance."

Turns out they will look, but it costs money to actually get the certificate

    • Quoting +GST to the General Public. 🤔

  • Is it like a pink slip where you can only get the defects cleared from that same person?

  • So it's not actually free… It is $53.90…

As far as I know it is only compulsory to have the certificate if you are selling the home or renting it out.

Also, if you are in NSW and want to check if your pool already has a certificate you can check here at the NSW Pool Register
