    Hmmm….

  • lol we have a Mormon in our midst!

  • save money on christmas presents, give them to all your family and friends :)

  • +3

Are they personally delivered by two guys on bikes?

Maybe I should post "wait by your door and a mormon or jehova's witness will come past and give you FREE advice!" as a bargain.

  • This is purely a marketing excersise for the mormon church, no bargain here. If Kmart sent out their catalog in DVD form would it be a bargain? Neg, but Merry Christmas =)

    • Probably not, but more likely to provide better entertainment. Nothing beats looking for a bargain.

i love getting free stuff when companies have marketing drives, i think everyone on ozbargain does

  • Actually the DVD is always free, so its not a bargain.

  • Hmm.. This might be good to watch, although on the topic of free religious items; I did get a Dianetics book and intro DVD for free from someone within the Church of Scientology in Sydney.

  • Zeitgeist is a free movie. Can I send you a copy of that?

  • This doesn't look like it would make a very effective door stop.

    • Might make a good coaster for your coffee cup though!

Don't want them on my doors

Not a bargain, just marketing religious beliefs.

  • +4

ok, so if its always free and always will be then maybe it then by definition is not a bargain, but these following comments simple do not make sense within the context of ozbargain

"Not a bargain, just marketing religious beliefs"
"This is purely a marketing excersise for the mormon church, no bargain here"

I received a free optislim package today - not a bargain just purely a marketing excersise marketing weight loss beliefs for optislim
I received a free microwave meal (which isn't very good) earlier this week - not a bargain just purely a marketing excersise marketing meal solution beliefs for owhatever that company was
I watched "Made in dagenham" a few weeks ago for free - not a bargain just purely a marketing excersise marketing the belief that is i watched that movie I would like it so much that I would promote the movie for free to all my friends and family so they would go and pay to watch the movie as a result of the free (ish)advertising that they gave me

I'm not saying you are both wrong, just saying that it seems that this site is replete with no bargains if you are right.

Firstly, not a bargain, since it's always free. Secondly, as the above poster said, this is just marketing your religious beliefs, which counts as spam in my book.

  • +1

This is neither spam nor marketing propaganda as some of you seem to shallowly think so. If people arent aware it is free, then letting them know makes it a bargain for those who like free things. Furthermore, do your research before making silly remarks about them putting you down for their door knock visits.
If you are so easily offended by nice things go and drink a glass of milk and eat a cookie, it will make you feel better!

  • Useful for sending to enemies.

  • Aside from all the childish commentary by those here, this is something that has always been free and per rules is more appropriate for the forums.

  • promoting religion on this site is a - for me

You guys need to grow up. This DVD costs $6.20 USD to buy, as you can plainly see from this official Latter-day Saint site:
    http://store.lds.org/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product3_1070…

This DVD is often free around Christmas time. Just because it's been free before doesn't mean everyone has received it before. It's free again, with free delivery, and it's a bargain. Just because you are afraid of religion doesn't mean you need to go negging away. Just because you personally don't want a product doesn't make it a bad product.

Actually I couldn't get that site working. I'm not sure if it's just me. I did find the free DVD here though:

  • The cd is great and best of all it was free
