The MXQ PRO+ didn't get much love so the rep gave me a discount on the MINIX NEO U9-H. Seems to be the cheapest after a couple searches. Performs better than the mi box so is the price. I think it's still worth waiting for a discount on a mi box.

  Would never buy another minix. Have a x8h plus.

  Remote failed after 1 month (crap build quality). No updates ever, had it 1st week of release.

  For this sort of money I'd look at the WeTek Hub. $99USD plus postage.
  Very capable in many ways and has proper licensing so HD 5.1 Netflix works, DTS sound and good updates/support. I have their Play 2 running very nicely on Android TV ROM, dual boot to LibreELEC for top Kodi experience (also works fine in ATV)
