  • Anyone know if the charger is specific to the model or usb. 120v would be my only concern as these use specific bases generally.

  • Arent the circular oscillating ones better than these??

    • I’ve had both. Prefer these

    • That's what I thought but most of the reviews I've read seem to favour this type.

I've been using an oscillating one for about 20 years and have just ordered one of these. Time will tell I guess.

  • I was just about to purchase this, but it comes to $51.73 with my CBA mastercard. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?! I've selected the cheapest delivery option at $10.41.

    • I am no expert on Amazon transactions but I have just bought one so would like to share on a few points - click on the "special offer" box on the order page and you will be prompted to sign in to your existing Amazon Account. A $5 credit will be added to your account for eventual application on completion of purchase. Also, when you put in your credit card details, despite identifying your card as denominated in A$, choose to place your order in US$ so that the exchange rate would be the "favourable" rate (not sure if CBA's rate is favourable, I use 28 Degree). I did not compare but am quite sure the Amazon rate (when you "choose" to place order in A$, would definitely be less favourable than the 28D card conversion rate. Hope the above helps.

    • Try and remove it from your cart and go back to the first page and there should be a 'coupon' box next to the price which takes $5 USD of once you go through to checkout - hope that helps :)

  • +1

Just placed an order as I am annoyed by the problem of unable to recharge my Braun electrical brushes during my trips to Japan, Taiwan, and US, etc. (All 120V countries). If the technology is superior to the oscillating one, that would be an extra BIG BIG bonus.
