@pyramid: SYDNEY, NSW, 2000
@pyramid: Elizabeth Street, Brisbane
@malouphix:
This is at the Market St store in the David Jones Food Court (lower ground level men’s side)
I just got some stuff, Queen St Brisbane. Top floor.
As far as the confectionery goes probably no cheaper than Big W, but presented nicely.
Puddings are a pretty good price.
Bourke St Melbourne had a few gift packs on sale (rrp $99) and some lindt stuff. Couldn't find the tea
75% off?
Yes
The same gift packs pictured in the post. Some puddings too.Thanks
contacted david jones, none of the store in Sydney have this.
So many great answers :-0
you probably wont want it even at 75% off. i looked at some items when they where 50% off and they had tones and no one was buying due to exorbitant prices. e.g saw some tossed marshmallows that looked real nice and i thought half price probably $10 so should be $5 but to my shock normal price some $39.95 !!!!! for marshmallows in a clear plastic container !!!!! I feel sorry for the little old ladies that buy this stuff as gifts getting fully ripped off !!! The hampers are much the same for $99.95 you get around $5 of crackers and $5 of spreads in a basket with some crunched up paper.
David jones and the pokies wouldn't exist without little old ladies.
I gotta say I had some of the coconut coated marshmallows at a friends place at Christmas and they were hands down the best marshmallows I ever had. At 75% off they are totally worth it.
So guess none in Sydney only other staes
Plenty in Sydney, not sure what they're on about
Cbd store?
yes
I can confirm (at lunchtime today) there's a reasonable selection of over priced xmas foods at 75% off at David Jones food hall in Perth CBD. I didn't see any packets of tea. There were some hampers, sweet biscuits, chocolates (various types), jelly lollies, xmas puddings etc. There are a few different areas where these can be found within the foodhall (a couple of areas in the boxed chocolates section, on a stand near the entrance to the food hall and on the right hand wall near the entrance to the food hall).
Any godiva on sale in Vic?
50% off, but still worked out to be $4 per chocolate…
Dubai had them available to taste at the airport, if only DJ was as generous :(
They also also behind the glass case, so you had to ask for help.
@anastasiastarz: at DJ or Dubai?
@pyro love bird: DJs
@anastasiastarz: don't they have the boxes? I love godiva Chocolate but can't bring myself to spend so much money on them </3
@pyro love bird: That is the cheapest box - 4pk $16.
If anyone likes licorice/boiled candy Priceline has $4 tins.
The Byron bay cookies are really nice.. But they come on half price sale at Woolies and are much cheaper ($2/100gm on sale). The Fortnum & Mason teas are also good (Assam and Darjeeling in particular)
I looked up the stuff they had in their hampers and bought almost 95% of stuff from woolies/coles, a $6 wire basket from kmart and put together couple of hampers to give away. Worked almost half the original marked price of DJ hampers.
awesome. I'll get some for the office. People will think I'm generous.
