      • steak sandwich is just okay IIRC compared to all the great new joints around now

      • The burgers are decent but i agree they are way overprice. Had them yesterday and they are rather on the small size. I gobble them up in less than 2 minutes. The chips are also way overprice. Shocking..

Cheapest burger 10 bucks. 5 bucks a burger sounds a good deal to me. Regarding registration like OP has stated it can be dummy data so it's easy peasy. come on now…

    • If you work in the city or near a Grill'd then people who buy lunch every day are always keen for bargains to reduce their costs and allow them to try something new. This requires me to have a work friend handy to split the cost of the one burger you pay for.

Can someone with a Jan 13th expirery code please try it on Friday and let everyone know if it was accepted.

    • Just had lunch with offer. Works. The person taking the order checked the expiry date.
Another customer next to me was also using the QR code

    I didn't get an email?

    • Same, no QR code, no email even in spam folder

  • Do you think a family of four could use two vouchers on same bill i.e. four for the price of two? They do say "Not valid with any other offer."

we just ordered and paid separately. they made us dine in tho so was tad weird having two orders with two numbers on the table. but we saved $15!

      • +2

Yep. Did the same last night with the fam for dinner.

Went to two Melbourne venues - Degraves Street (did not allow for take away) and Southgate (did allow for take away).
Might depend on who receives your order though.

    • +3

Yeah with these things, normally with the younger/casual staff, they don't give a crap about these things, they get paid regardless. Managers and more senior staff, they tend to be a stickler for the rules.

      Directly from the post:

Offer applies to dine-in purchases only.

If you read the T&C's, your neg wouldn't be necessary.

Thanks OP, just redeemed mine tonight. As others have said, overpriced at full price, but not too bad at half price. Taste good either way.

  • Last day tomorrow, get in there !!

Just redeemed it again at Grill'd Casey Central for Takeaway, great first deal OP.

Comment from Grill’d on Facebook post about 13/1 expiry…

Best get in soon as the next offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. But Simon made an error with the expiry on some emails (which of course we will honour) but we are making him give out something else tomorrow to make up for it.

  • wait my expiry is 13/01

Can this be used tomorrow (saturday)?

    • you can try but they've changed the expiry date so the QR code may not work.

      • +1

They’ve already said they will honor emails with 13/1 expires via Facebook

        • thankyou!

  • +1

I just redeemed free burger, can confirm that it's being honoured!

    • Did the code scan? Or did they do it manually?

      • +1

I redeemed mine today and they scanned it

      • +1

        Scanned

        • Scanned mine successfully today too

  • Bah, I had a 13th expiry and they refused to honor it today (13th). I had no idea they changed it.

    • That’s BS. Mine actually scanned successfully. They can’t refuse it in any case. The email mentions nothing about T&C’s

      • Yeah, I was in company so didn't want to make a big deal. I'm guessing she just thought they all expired on the 11th. Anyway, not her fault, disappointing that head office tried to shorten the deal though.

One BOGOF QR-Code with expiry date 13/1:

First one to use it … I guess.

  • Thanks OP. Burger was delish today.
