I bought this for 9.99USD in August 2017. Nice charger. Even came with a surprise that the USB ports are back lit.

Thanks for this. Was going to buy for a bedroom but now I won’t. Dodged a bullet there.

      • +8

I have one in my bedroom. The back lights are in the USB ports and are VERY dim. It won't bother you. If you leave a cable in the port that's half the light anyway.

Great thanks. I'm back on the buying train again :D

        Overreact much?

  • Does this charge an iPad at its full speed?

    • Yeh through the 2.4a. Apples doesn't have QC

      • So it will charge at the same speed that comes woth iPads? I believe it’s 12W. No idea about Amps!

        • +2

          USB = 5 Volts
          5 Volts at 2.4 Amps = 5 * 2.4 = 12Watts :)

        • +1

Yeh I think 12W=5v x 2.4A should should charge at the maximum speed. Unless the have typeC now capable at much higher Watts

        • +1

Yes, the 2.4A (5V*2.4A=12W) is the same as the standard iPad charger. You can charge through the QC port, but it only supplies 10W (5V/2A) for non-QC devices.

        • +1

Thanks guys. So for Apple users we can just go with this then….couple bucks cheaper. 11.74

          https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S2-4_8A-24W-Dual-USB-A…

        • Thanks. Just what I was looking for.

        • @davevmoz:

As the BW chargers can output 2.4A at the same time through 2x usb ports (ie 4.8 in total). That IKEA is one can only max output 3.4A

    • "Up to 12W from the 2.4A port"
The standard Apple iPad chargers are 10W

      • Cam iPads take more juice and charge quicker?

Thought iPads came with 12W now?

        • +2

No idea, the three ipads I have bought all came with 10w chargers. I have two of these BW ones, charges all iphones and ipads in this house really quickly

        • @cam83:
          Which iPads do you have?

        • +1

          @katz:
          ipad 2
          ipad mini 2
one of the new ones, no idea what it is, ipad air 2 or whatever was after that. came with a 10w charger that is still in the box

        • @cam83:

Kk. The iPad pros can take up to 29W Ive just read, through the USB C chargers.

        • @katz:

correct, but this is not a usb-c charger

        • @katz:
My iPad Pro is not USB c, the 12 inch one is but not my 9.7

        • our mghy2x draws 4.97v/11.93w/2.4a from a xiaomi powerback.

      • my ipad charger is 12W … yes it’s genuine apple charger.

      • It's been 12w since the iPad retina was released due to that enormous battery it had.

I have ordered with Banggood Last September. It takes four months to get my money back. Paypal has helped me to my money back. Buyer aware use Paypal as insurance to buy from Banggood.

    • +4

I’ve found them good to refund quickly. Some of their products are also in their VIC warehouse on sunshine. So delivery can be quick!

I have purchased 10 item at one stage. they have only sent me 6 items and they told me rest of items are on back order. Then the order has cancelled without sending me the refund. so iI dispute the purchase to Paypal then Banggood told me to close my dispute so I can get my money back, on the other hand, they told Paypal they send the items. Then I call Paypal in person and send them emails to prove that. Finally, I got my money back today. My purchase was in September.

      • I used to buy from them. last year at least 12 orders. but not anymore after this happens.

    • I have never had a problem. One item on preorder became not available, I got my refund quick.

  • I'm waiting for a wall charger that combines USB type c and type a

    • tronsmart have a charger with a usb c pd port and type A volt IQ port …. 42W as a car charger ( i have one) either blitzwolf or tronsmart also make a 240v wall version, have one at work.

  • Does anyone have an opinion on IKEA's USB charger, currently $15?
    https://m.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/art/40291889/
I'm surprised I haven't seen any comments on this, as it looks quite decent…

    • +2

They're pretty good actually, although unlike the Blitzwolf won't do QC3.

This guy has reviewed both the Blitzwolf and Ikea among many many others…

3.4A total. It's pretty average to be honest. If you plug in one high drain device like an iPad, that only leaves 1A for the other two ports.

No biggie if you don't mind waiting (overnight charge for example) or charging less hungry devices like headphones but anything power hungry and lots of such devices this won't suffice.

Best deal ever was that woolies 4 port $1 charger. Had 2x 1Amp and 2x 2.4A for a 34W output.

      • Oh ok so that’s how multi port chargers work. Thanks for that. Considering throwing out my Jackson 4 port USB TRAVEL charger

        http://www.ji.com.au/products/PT4USB4A/

I have an iPad Pro that would pull 2.4A from one plug. Also an iPhone 7, confused how that Jackson would hold up.

        • +1

Doesn't seem to give enough information about each port but I'd assume 2.1A Max per port with a total of 4.2A. Meaning if you connected anything else up itd slow down the charging of your other devices. I know the plus iPhone can use 2A but not sure about the regular if they just use 1A.

        • @BargainKen:

Many thanks. I think I will get rid of it and get the SC2

  • Can this fast charge both my S8+ at the same time?

    • No

      • Thanks!

      • Why not? Can it fast charge one S8?

Ah I see, it only has one QC 3.0 port :)

  • does anyone know if this support huawei fcp?

    • Yes, I believe so….. Compatible with Qualcomm QC2.0,QC3.0,HUAWEI FCP,Samsung AFC,Apple,BC1.2

  • +2

As always, don't forget Cash Rewards

  • What is the difference between this and BW-S9? Is there any Wattage limit to which phones can accept? I see that Watts are different in different models.

    • S9 is single port, this is dual port.

  • Any deals on the S10?

  • Is this capable to charge iPhone X fast charge with the normal cable?

  • +1

Does anyone know if they do a charger with dual QC ports?

    • I searched, couldn't find one. Found a couple for around $50 that had 2 QC and 3 normal.

I actually bought this charger 2 weeks ago. It's good, for the 1 QC device.

  • Bought 2. Thank you! Was waiting for this deal.

  • Found a different link with only 3 in stock for the same price
    https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S6-QC3_0-2_4A-30W-Dual…

  • 1) Do they have a charger with 2 ports of QC3.0 instead? Won't it be better as QC3.0 would work as 2.4A anyway?

    2) Which is their fast charger model for Apple devices? I reckon Apple devices aren't QC3.0 compatible.
