I suddenly don't feel too well…
Guess if it is for charity I could take a day off from work… You know for charity.
Going to be a short day, Australia will win by an innings. Hope the Poms put on a better performance in the ODIs.
Will it make tomorrow?
Has now.
How to buy tickets?
Probably at the gate…
You dontneed to buy any tickets. Their will be an donation box before entering the gates. Donate a gold coin and enter thru gates.
Possibly the most boring test series ever not involving one of the minnows. When the marsh brothers are scoring tons, it tells you all you need to know.
So you find it boring that 2 brothers got a ton each together?? So you find it boring that aussies used tactics to keep the opposition out in the field in mega heat so they could get early wickets?? I bet you are not of long aussie background or a sportsperson:) The ashes have been going since 1883 and its about a passion of cricket thing, not about smashing runs etc etc. Each to there own, but after watching and listening to for 47 years, i detest people that no very little about a sport that say its crap because there team not playing or is being flogged:) It shows you not an aussie at all even mentioning the Marsh brothers that both got a ton not in a positive for what very very few have ever done in the history of cricket!!! Next!
I will buy the tickets and take you, you by the beers, be the best day of cricket you will ever have:)
Boring cricket is boring cricket, who cares if it has been going for 500 years.
Talk to true fans of the game and they will agree that this series was a very poor exponent for test cricket, the English team were a joke, Bangladesh would have put on a better show.Over 800,000 people who went to the games disagree with you.
@Eeples:
Love your logicBoring cricket is boring cricket
At least today shouldn't be too boring. They obviously don't know how to bat for a draw at 4 down already.
@Eeples: I went to the game yesterday it was indeed boring. One of the worst test series i have ever seen. lots of empty seats there too…
@Eeples: I dont.
I agree - it's been a pretty dull series.
Test cricket has been heading this way for a while - unless the team is world class, they're struggling to win away from home in a series against one of the other top nations. England have managed only 5 test wins in Australia in the last 7 series (three of those in the one series where they won). Unless they learn how to bat on the harder wickets (and find a bowler who's able to bowl truly fast) it'll continue this way.
Similarly if Australia continue to struggle against the seaming ball they'll struggle to win in England (although they are at least competitive, but it's coming up 18 years since they last won a series in England).
Unfortunately with the money involved in the T20 series around the world I can only see this trend continuing.
If only they done the same at the MCG
Would have been good, but SCG better pitch:)
The GOAT will wipe out the lefties.
Alas a pretty one sided series for the neutral observer. Shoes how much the poems were talking things up beforehand. Hopefully a few of them will return home with their tails between their legs.
thanks for the post
Got to see the England captain with the shits pop out to build his average for the series up above cook, total runs above cook, then job done retired and left the others to be losers.
Worst captain since boycott - loved anderson's mocking speech after - what a straight face!
Who would really play for that little ….?
Few sickies in Sydney tomorrow?
