I'm sure the a-team could turn a shopping trolley into an armored tank with this.

Anyone have experience of the quality of this brand?

    • Ive had cheap crap for 20+ years and not much can go wrong if you use the right tool for the right job, its when you dont that things break :)
This stuff isnt really meant for professionals/tradies though….

    • I've got the other kit - the one in the blow molded case. For the $99 that I paid, I think its fantastic. Its gotten me through two engine swaps and lots of suspension work.

I'm afraid not, you have to go through all the data entry online, then select payment method… Once you click "Proceed" then you are returned to your cart and advised out of stock, remove item to proceed.

        Just tried again.

        • Happens every time with these miller deals, they usually make it delivery only also (+$30 for me)

Just popped in to look for cable tie comments.

    • Surely you mean tools.

I purchased this mid last year for approx the same price.
    PROs:
Quality of the socket sets is pretty good, I'd say it's worth it for this alone. Pliers and Large screw drivers are also good.
    Heavy duty bag
    CONs:
Adjustable spanner weak and feels tacky
Smaller screw drivers have all rounded. Thrown out.

Thanks OP, I managed to purchase one for click and collect.

Wow - quite impressed at the quality of the bag and the variety of tools included. In SA, Noarlunga had one (I got that one), Marion have 1, and Hectorville apparently have stock, although that was at 4:30 this afternoon. It still scans at $200 instore though, but Noarlunga were happy to 'price match' the website - that or I would have just stood there instore and ordered it for instore pickup ;) They also mentioned it's a discontinued item, which would probably explain the price.

  • What would you guys recommend for a socket/spanner set? I have prob. half of the non-socket stuff in this kit but even still it might be worth it.

    [edit]
    Sold out :(

  • Missing a hacksaw, but they are only a few dollars.
    Otherwise brilliant

    (Not for a pro though)

Just finished opening up and checking out the contents. It's for me a damn good price and purchase. The socket set and bag are top notch and as mentioned earlier, just for these it's worth it.

So glad I bought first then thought why later (it's now going to be the just in case car/camping kit)

According to the sca website, near me the following locations has pickup available:
    Robina
    Ashmore
    Oxenford
