“Buy 2 get 1 free”
Soft Toy campaign supporting Save the Children
This “Buy 2 get 1 free” Soft Toy offer is valid between 29th November 2010 and
12th December 2010 (“Offer Period”) for purchases of any IKEA soft toys from
IKEA Richmond (Victoria), IKEA Homebush Bay Drive (New South Wales) or
IKEA Logan (Queensland).
“Buy 2 get 1 free” applies when purchasing two soft toys of the same value
where a third soft toy purchased is of equal or lesser value. When processed
at our checkout all toys will scan at a price indicating a 33% discount has been
applied (i.e. 33% discount equates to “buy 2 get 1 free” when 3 soft toys are
purchased in the one transaction).
Any returns of soft toys purchased during the Offer Period will be honoured at
the price indicated on the register receipt.
For every soft toy you buy between 1 November & 24 December 2010, IKEA
Social Initiative will donate 1 euro to Save the Children.

Unless OP is a rep, I don't think they typed up the t&c's
Technically, 33% off each item will always mean that you get the cheapest one "for free"
But buying 3 and getting the cheapest for free does not always mean 33% off each item.
In any case, "Buy 2 get 1 free!" is Ikea's tagline, and in many cases, you'll be better off since "33% off" is better than "buy 2 get 1 free"
i copied and pasted from the Ts&Cs…don't think i'd be bothered typing that whole thing out myself!
Went to Ikea and saw the deal today. Always wanted one of those Hippos. But $24.. no thanks.
Did you get any Swedish meatballs ?
get someone to go in on it with you! i've got my eye on the hand puppets..they're only $5 i think..so cute!!
i want the giant shark. it's 30 bucks but its awesome
You are contradicting yourself…
It is either "buy 3 and get the cheapest for free" OR
"33% off when you buy 3"
They are not the same thing…
