  Great features - years ago.
  Plenty of reviews of this model launched 2014! (20.1 megapixels, 8x optical zoom, HD Movie 720p, 2.7" LCD)

  Previous lower spec version has been deals in 2011 & reviews since 2007.

    Unfortunately it is no better than iPhone 6s. Pixels mean nothing at all. For a nail sized sensor, jpeg format taken by iPhone is much better, and you can even take raw by using APP.

  ok, i can tell you this thing is a piece of crap in terms of lens and sensor. it is a lot better off to buy the next model up: WX350 at under 199 (once upon a time Aldi sold it). that camera has way better lens than the best iPhone will ever get. sensor wise, it is on par with perhaps iPhone 6S.
  As for this thing, i saw a few parents hand one to their kids, kids under 12 for them to shoot whatever they want. it is pretty much the only real reason for it to remain on the market…. see that as a toy, and you got the $ burning in a hole of your pocket, then YEAH

    WX350 was also recommended over this last deal

    I gave out Canon IXUS 145 (16MP, 8x optical zoom, 720p movie, 2.7″ LCD) to friends kids. Bought those 3 Christmas ago for $3.75 - that was a great deal😀

        Have not been impressed with more entry level Sony point & shoot cameras - for image quality. That's vital in a camera. Sold one soon after buying.

        due to work reasons, I played with almost every cameras sony had on offer since 2012, the 810/830 were barely so so back when they first released, and it is now hopelessly outdated especially the sensor. Sonys current range had the 350 discontinued, the WX500 is the entry level selfie cam, then the 90V is their best all rounder at 300 level realistic price, next up has to be the RX-100 series, cause there are not in - betweens, but with the money can buy the RX-100 iv, i rather have an E-mount body! Any more $ in pocket, just get a A7 Mark 2 series body….

        i wouldnt recommend Sony for automated DC now fast replaced by highend smartphones, but i do recommend their interchangable lens cameras.
