meant for different audiences, but I would say yes.
This has an awesome screen (and almost no bezel) and the latest hardware to boot.
Word has it that it has the most network bands on a mobile phone, IIRC.
Order from Geekbuying on the 8th Dec they wait until the 28th Dec to tell me that the product is unavailable. Will never order from them again.
No-one cares:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/327499If I'd read that post before the 8th Dec then I wouldn't have ordered from Geekbuying. Anyone reading your post and still ordering from this sham of a company is an idiot. Also, if it's any consolation, you were allowed to be pissed off. They flat out lied and then tried to sweep it under the rug. I hope this company disappears and should be banned from Ozbargain.
You really should PM me as I get most issues resolved quickly. Perhaps I should provide updates in the forum's when people's issues are resolved? Because it seems the customers certainly don't.
Worth mentioning about 50% of complaints I get are people confusing Geek with their competitors. Or people ordering 6 days before Christmas and getting angry that it hasn't arrived yet.
@Clear: Dude, I didn’t buy it from a link on Ozbargain so why would I need to PM you on this platform? And I’m pretty sure that people would provide their own positive feedback if they were happy with your company. No, I did not confuse you with a competitor and No, I did not order 6 days before Christmas or even care if I got it the item before Christmas. All I expected was what was advertised. 2-7 day processing time and instead I got 20+ day processing time and then told it was out of stock. Pretty poor customer service relationship if you ask me. Anyway, It’s in PayPal’s hands now. I don’t see a reason to deal with Geekbuying anymore. Good day.
@nuts: All I did was offer to help. I didn't accuse you of anything. No need to be rude.
@Clear: I don’t think I was rude. I just stated the facts.
Edit: and unless you own a part of the company it was in no way a personal attack. I don’t know you or know what you can or can not do to help. I made my decision to go through PayPal and am entitled to my opinion.
@nuts: To be clear I'm just a regular OzBargainer in Australia. I negotiate deals for GeekBuying and I can contact their staff directly when customers have issues, but I'm not required to. That's where the association comes from.
My intention was just to help out if I could. Since you've gone through Paypal there really isn't anything I can offer.
@Clear: That’s fair. Have a good day.
I didn’t know about this post till now. Just scanned through it and added my voice.

cheaper here and there's some codes if you can get them, $20 off $200 and $35 new customer. (can be hit and miss)Hahah was looking at JoyBuy last night and they had it for that price but changed it back by today, was kind of bummed but GeekBuying was still pretty good… Glad I hadn't ordered yet.
The prices changes by the day lol.
Great phone either way.Going to leave this one up for the cheap and faster shipping options :)
This or Pixel 2?
For me it comes down to the Pixel 2 XL being double the price with not that much difference being the speaker (front facing on Pixel), software (MIUI may not be to your taste) and camera (can be improved quite a bit through Google Camera APK)
If you dont care about bezel, go for pixel 2
If you dont care about the screen, go for pixel 2
If you dont care about the price, go for pixel 2
If you only care about the stock android, go for pixel 2XL? forget about it, the worst "flagship" phone with sh*t screen in 2017
The Pixel 2 has
- a 2700mAh battery vs 3400mAh on the Mi Mix 2
- 5" FHD AMOLED screen vs 5.99" FHD+ LCD screen on the Mi Mix 2
- front-facing stereo speakers (I'm not sure about the Mix 2)
- 4GB of RAM vs 6GB RAM
- a clean build of Android 8 Oreo. MIUI does not appeal to everyone. For me, it's a love-hate relationship
- fast updates. Xiaomi seem to enjoy delaying major updates.
- the better snapper
- is pricierHTH
I wish those who order/ordered from this Geekbuying mob lots of luck.
I purchased a Xiaomi Dafang camera from Geekbuying came with US adapter not Australian one, six emails later still no AU Adapter, have now had to open a case with PayPal, wish me luck!
No where in the world sells one with an AU adapter as it's sold in China with the 2 pin type plug. Every other deal from every other seller has been the same.
Most people here know to use an adapter, phone charger or Xiaomi power strip.
Email from Geekbuying
Dear David
There should come with a convert plug like the black one.
As the most of the charger are CN version.
If you still not get that one,we can refund you AUD 3 to buy a correct one once we
get your confirmation.Best regards

GeekbuyingIt didn't come with convert plug, also it is illegal to supply goods that don't comply with Australian Design Rules.
They offered a partial refund for not including an adapter. Is that not satisfactory? What do you think is acceptable?
Australian Design Rules refers to vehicle safety standards. SAA Approvals are the ones responsible for certifying electronics. It's not illegal to import non-compliant electronics into Australia, unless you're a business that has the intention of selling them. GeekBuying is not an Australian company. This is to be expected when buying electronics from China. There are at least 4 uncertified devices on the front page right now.
Is this better than the Mi 6?
