Roller Storage Box 50L $5 @ Reject Shop

210

Quality storage boxes with lid and wheels. I got these last time and pretty happy with quality and wheels on my carpeted house is handy compared to the Keji officeworks one I got earlier.

For reference on price the officeworks keji (with no wheels)

  • Upvoting because I was actually looking for the roller bin :D, should be included in the deal as well IMO, think red dot was selling for ~$20

    • Glad the deal inadvertently helped.

  • Do they come in clear?

Warning to those who have never used these these things break and crack really easily. Like anything that is heavier than a can of food should not be bulked stored in here. Really light stuff only like plush toys or clothes or pillows or food munchies.

Forget stuff like work tools and stuff unless you don't plan on carrying it that far.

They are not for workshops with heavier loads is what I am saying maybe just kids toys but if your kid toys to sit on it it will crack unlike some industrial strength storage boxes from a home hardware store but they cost a lot more.

    • agree. bought heaps of them when relocating and after pulling them out of storage, handles cracked, corners cracked, the middle part of the top covers caved in, the bottom corners chipped etc. Those double wall box cartons survived better than these. Although $5 is cheap though.

for heavier stuff, invest a little more like this [https://www.bunnings.com.au/montgomery-60l-heavy-duty-storage-container_p2583473].

      • Amen.. I learnt its main use is for like storing clothes and bedding away from bugs and stuff or storing food in the kitchen like rice away from bugs.

It is very lightweight definitely not for moving house or carrying heavy stuff.

The one you linked looks like a solid alternative would honestly invest in this unless you know your needs will be very very soft or lightweight.

Wouldn't trust it with even books.. papers only maybe like old bills and stuff.

      • That’s right, for a box to put away stuff from dust and so forth these are the cheapest you can get, I’ve never seen cheaper.

    • I store kids toys, old books and general stuff. If u want to store tools you should probably buy something like a tool box. Honestly need to buy appropriate storage for your needs, some common sense helps :)

And yes, they are not seats, so if us it on them, and they are empty they will break, if they are full of stuff I’ve stacked many kilos on top and it’s fine.

    • What about craft supplies?

      • If light stationary type stuff it should be ok.

If storing say dense bottles or tubs of glue and stuff though it might crack or break under full load.

        • Ah ok. I don't have many bottles of glue XD

@anastasiastarz: it's basically a slightly stronger and larger Chinese take away box if that makes any sense ignore the racist.

Definitely not as strong as a garbage bin.

If you want to store heavy duty stuff either get an industrial one from Bunnings or a sturdy new garbage bin for that certain purpose.

  • THanks OP, grabbed some for toys
