'Negotiated' is the new term for 'PC Byte asked me to post' 😂

This is coming from someone who was asked to post for them, and refused :)

      • Why don't they post it themselves?

        • Fear of backlash, may be? So they don't get hammered if Ozbargainers don't find the deal worthy.

It's the age old thing, a recommendation from a member goes further than a post by a rep. A member comes under a lot less scrutiny than a rep does. Plus there's gonna be a few extra votes put in for someone claiming they're working in the best interest of the members, when it's clearly not the case.

If this post were truly negotiated, prices would be so sharp that it should be easy to front page.

Clearly this is just an ad.

So much for deals posted throughout the day

          So much for 'negotiated' deals

        • @Spackbace:
Since, its a negotiated deal, shouldn't it be marked associated?

          @BrodenIt:

Nah never the case with negotiated deals, but if asked to post you most definitely should.

  • DDR4 RAM, GTX 1080 Ti, CPU Liquid Cooler would be great :)

    • PLE have a deal on ddr4 ram. Can only see it on their email though, maybe not up on their website yet

      • Thanks. What RAM and what's the price?

EC, do you think they'll have a deal on PC monitors? I am in the market for one (not necessarily for gaming) and would like to know if they'll have any deals on monitors.

    • I'm also chasing a monitor. Acer Predator XB1 XB271HU
i already missed out on the last deal a few days ago i think

  • Come on better price on the Samsung Evo plus 256gb micro sd card.

Any deals on internal hard drives?

    • 2.5" 2tb….

Amazon US website have the WD elements drive and passport 4tb for $99 US. Works out to AU$144.39 delivered. Passport has more software and encryption plus faster speed. Could be even less without conversion. Pay in US dollars as most banks charge 3% for foreign currency instead of Amazon's higher conversion rate…

  • The link EC provided is still showing up as $279. I am in SA and it is still 1:37pm. Is this offer already active, or do I need to wait until 2pm SA time?

Update: Price just changed to $199, which when taking off the 20%, becomes $159.20. Did I misread this, or was the $160 after the 20% off was applied?

    • Yeah $160 is after discount. You won't see it cheaper in Australia now. But honestly better off getting the WD passport from Amazon US. That $144 price is everyday!

  • no-one even does a motherboard and cpu special, and something that is afforadable

  • Where's them new deals, mang
I had this open in my phone tabs yesterday
    think of the wasted milliwatts!
