      Yes, you are right. But not everyone have an Android phone. And when you have a call, others can't use Gmote anymore.

    This device is convenient for watching movie, listening music etc. And this keyboard is good for… It seems too heavy.

      I use an app called air mouse. The full version comes with a mouse, keyboard and media remote. Can't remember how much it cost sorry.

    Use Hippo Lite, VLC Remco, VLCremFree.. for iphone's
    The best is hippo lite, its comes with mouse pad and keyboard and using your home wireless network to connect to the computer, also you need to install a vnc s/w on your computer (WIN VNC is the best one for this)
    NO need to be a jailbrocken iphone/ipod/ipad

      thanks helo… when you said "home wireless network" does it means i only have to turn on wifi on both laptop and iphone - and they will connect each other?? or i need to have active internet connection for example with tpg or optus, etc??

      the thing is , i do NOT have internet at home at all. but my laptop has wifi function.

        you will need a wifi router for them to be able to connect to each other
