how do i get the xbox 360 games?
when i try adding those games, it asks me to pay for them. worried that they would actually charge me for it even tho i have a gold account.
does anyone have this issue? The offer starts in Jan.
i mean in general with 360 games.
i havent gotten any 360 games because of it asking me for paymentBeen there, done that.
Some said it was because I swapped regions on my account. Others said this, that, and the other. Using a VPN and tricking it into thinking I'm in America did get it to work for me, but only the one time unfortunately.
In the end I did what a couple said, took a chance, and hit pay. I don't want to tell you to do this in case it doesn't work, but it works for me fine every month. If you happen to have a debit card or something with zero on it, maybe give it a go?
But basically, in my experience, it asks me to pay, but never takes a cent.
@TheDukeOfNukem:
great Duke, ill give it a go with an empty card
thanks mate@PreSsieGuY: Hopefully it works out for you. If you've swapped regions a few times like me, that can be the killer. Mine usually says it's X amount in USD then I hit buy and it comes up in AUD and then I hit pay and it turns to free.
It's some weird ass shit to be frank, but then again, so was needing a credit card to download free content all along.
i didn't realise it was because of that. now that i remember i did have a lot of issues with regions. just annoying because i never saw it being as simple as playstation.
It says free when confirming payment
The other way is to obtain the games on an Xbox 360 console itself (if you have it hooked up already).
It always asks for payment (at least for me it has), but you don't get charged anything.
Shame it's the original Army of Two, the sequels were wayyy better.
Van Helsing, literally couldn't care less about.
Zombi, bought on Wii U, kinda fun, got on Plus, kinda fun, moved on proper quick.
Tomb Raider, already got through PS+ years ago, never bothered to finish.
Army of Two, never even given it a thought. Probably still won't.I'll probably get into Tomb Raider if I have time and give ZombiU another whirl. Okay month I guess, nothing special mind you.
CSB
Now just need a good deal on xbox live ?
With the Wii U port of ZombiU here did they implement a save feature? I loved the premise of the first game and the no saves certainly made it nervy going which added to the sense of dread. But for that very reason it was too stressful to play casually and not a game you could have a quick bash at and still progress.
Army of Two not working in Aus??
Yeah, it looks like Army of Two may be region restricted and not available here?
Surely they should be offering us an alternative rather than nothing, right?
Yeah, I tweeted to @XboxAustralia and they responded to tell me that they are working on it.
Yeah I spoke to them… strange as it appears on the xbox 360 for $19.95 as the EU version..
Hopefully they give us something better
@Nickwpearce: I just checked now and the deal is working and I managed to get the EU version for free as part of GwG.
still cant get ARMY OF TWO to download. Purchase cannot be completed at this time…
Not my style, but solid lineup of non indy games
