Full credit goes to westical & forumninja for this post. Just like the AmEx deal, NAB personal Credit Card holders are eligible for the offer as well. So for those without an AmEx, this may be a good alternative. If you have both cards, even better. Have a great Christmas. Enjoy :)

      Please read the OP.

      • What is the details?

      • +6

ok i must be dreaming i swear i read NAB as well in that post yesterday lol. Move along nothing to see here, these aren't the droids you are looking for!..

  • If paid via PayPal would it still be eligible?

  • Anything cheap on Amazon AU yet?

    • +10

      No

      • +12

That was a very quick response. As expected from a ninja.

        • +11

You're lucky he didn't hurt you.

        • +5

@Scab: In a way, he did.

        • @Risto: Because he was too quick?

        • +3

@theStinge: Sometimes the truth hurts most.

    • There actually are some. Amazon's been selling some items at below cost price (I heard from a supplier)

      • +13

        I heard from a supplier

It's true, my third cousin, twice removed on my father's brother's cousin's side works for a friend who is distantly related to someone who used to be married to someone who used to work for Amazon and they said the same thing.

        • Wired!

    • +1

Might want to check their game prices. There seemed to be some bargains when they opened (possibly not as tempting as everyone else's sales have started).

    • Generally the stuff sold by Amazon themselves can be pretty good value (depends), but most of the staff being sold by other businesses is not good value (eg. CPUs - much cheaper Amazon US where Amazon is selling them than here where PC BYTE or whoever is listing things).

  • Now to wait and see if anything decent is on sale on boxing day

So if I have a NAB Amex which I register for both…??

    • I was wondering the same thing.

    • -1

Anyone have an answer for this?

  • So for NAB, there is no need to register right? Just use on the day?

    • +1

Correct - as per below. A much simpler process by the looks of it.
      http://nab.com.au/amazon

    • Yeah, I couldn't figure this out either. There doesn't appear to be any kind of registration process unless you want to use a non-Nab Amex - it reads as though it'll be automatic. Guess I'll find out in a few days - I bought a Switch and a couple of games before I investigated this, so I might find myself getting $50 back in my account as I paid with a Nab Visa.

  • +2

I registered my nab Amex yesterday?
Will I get 10% from nab and Amex?

    • Here’s hoping. And a nice deal on an iPhone 8 would be even better!

  • -1

so what if you dont have any of these Credit Cards?

    • +5

      You pay full price

      • +2

        well RIP

        • +14

          RRP actually

        • +1

@mopo: ill just have to go to ebay.

  • +2

Is this the "big boxing day sale" I've been hearing about?

    Such a flop.

  • I presume that a UBank Visa debit card would be excluded ?
    (Ubank owned by NAB).

    • +1

      Not a credit card anyway.

  • Seems to suggest Amazon might come out guns blazing on boxing day. Oh course, we've learnt not to hold out breathe, but this (and the Amex deal) is the strongest form of marketing they've put out so far.

  • -1

This is actually the SAME offer, just that more cardholders (NAB cc holders) are eligible.

PROOF: I have both types of card, and trying to sign up with NAB after already signing up with Amex, I got the message "you are already enrolled".

    • There is no sign up for the NAB offer.

  • +2

Bunch of tightasses decided to go NAB and AMex only eh?

  • Thanks TA. Just what's needed for me to try out Amazon.

  • do they sell gift crafts?

  • I have NAB Platinum VISA. Does that count as a Personal Credit Card?

    • Yes if it's not a business card!

  • Cashback didn't come through :(

    • Just checked my statement and it hasn't come through either, but from looking at the T&Cs it states:

When will I get the cash back?

The applicable cash back under this Offer will be credited to the eligible customer’s NAB personal Credit Card account within 6 weeks from the end of the Offer Period.

    • Mine was credited yesterday.
