this is a crappy deal, you are using a targeted promotion where you can spend the $10 on anything.
To be fair, this is like the numerous posts using the Amex deal at HN. A full priced item minus the targeted credit to make it a "deal"
But you can use the gift card at Dan Murphy's and get it for $7.40 and have $2.60 left over.
