in fact sock puppeting something that is free u might be worse off? If you're the business you want genuine repeat customers to try you wares but if you offer this on ozbargain etc you might get a whole bunch of moochers who have no intention of returning?

why would i do that and how can he tell if i have multiple accounts? im new member, just wonder does the positive vote benefit me in any way?

For the purposes of Ozbargain, it's posting a deal, comment or voting while not declaring that you are affiliated with the company.
Some examples:
A person posts a deal pretending to be a customer when they are actually the business owner.
A friend, family member, or employee posts a deal without declaring affiliation.
The OP creates multiple ghost accounts which then vote on the deal.
What you can do
Reporting your suspicions is a good idea but as the mods have a multitude of tools available that detects sockpuppeting, it's best to leave the investigation to us. Please submit issues either via the REPORT button or in the Talk with Mod forum
