ALDI Xfinity Plus Li-ion Quick Charger $10.99, 2.0Ah Battery $15.29 - ALDI Surry Hills NSW

120

This is at the Surry Hills (NSW) Aldi near my work.

Xfinity Plus Li-ion Quick Charger $10.99 (Was $19.99), Qty 10+
Xfinity Plus 2.0Ah battery pack $15.29 (Was $29.99), Qty around 10 left.
There were no 4.0Ah batteries left weeks ago. These were very good value for $39.99 at normal price.

I bought the charger plus two batteries and I do not even have the tools to fit them!!!

The batteries are very good quality, the plastic looks good quality. They have a 3 digit Segmented LED on the back to show the left over charge.
Inside they have five Samsung 2000mAH batteries INR18650-20Q, so that is about $3.20 per battery.

Which is why I got them for the 18650 batteries. Or I am going to try and upgrade my NiCd drill to use these batteries.
Or transplant the 1500mAH from my other drill with the 2000mAH cells. Or just buy some Aldi tools next time round.
Or maybe I should of saved my money.

These get resold on ebay for about $50 for the batteries.

These make good donor batteries for dud batteries from tools of other brands.
18V(20V) usually have the same layout of the batteries.
They sell for a small fortune replacement batteries of top brands. The batteries are already spot welded in series, just need to swap the other bits.

    • What are you using to do the spot welding?

      • sorry I was saying they are already spot welded 5 in series (at least I think they are). you can just solder the circuit board in.
i happen to look at a video on YouTube, the guy used a 12 car type battery and some copper wires / contacts and a solenoid and switch.
        cheap and easy.

These batteries fit the old Masters brand Wesco 18V tools. Plug straight in without modification!
I've been running one (2 ah) in my old Wesco drill now for 3 months without any issues.
Will get a couple more at this price for when the other Wesco packs die.
    Thanks OP, nice find.

    • 15000mA discharge good?
