I bring to light studies concerning your health and facts concerning ebgames. A public service. Without knowledge there is no change. You are uncomfortable with truth, yes?

    • -2

Microwaves? What are you talking about - they're completely different frequencies on the electromagnetic spectrum.

      • -3

        Failed basics?

      • "Microwaves are a form of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths ranging from one meter to one millimeter; with frequencies between 300 MHz (100 cm) and 300 GHz (0.1 cm)"

So, you are wrong. Doesn't mean they are harmful though.

      • I don't care about the industry who is living high off billions of dollars per year disseminating false information in the mainstream. I don't care about the 'established view' by mainstream muppets. I care about the truth.

        • I don't care about the truth, truth is perception. I care about facts, which you haven't provided any, you just linked to a webpage.

You claim you don't care about the 'established view' and then link to an article quoting WHO, can you explain the contradiction in that please? WHO being part of the established view.

        • @FabMan:
The 'established view' is changing. After they damage millions and the truth doesn't rest, this tends to happen. Even then it moves extremely slowly, for obvious reasons.

        • @cheepwun: Yep, the Established View often changes, especially after convincing evidence is provided.

        • @FabMan:
'Convincing' evidence comes after money 99.99% of the time. It already exists and has for decades.

        • -1

@cheepwun: 99.99% huh? Gotta love stats pulled from the arse to help prove a point.

        • -1

          @FabMan:
Gotta love someone who cannot get the point without being pedantic and argumentative about a 99.99% figure & who is apparently waiting for an official figure to be banded to him on a silver platter while not asking a single question about who is funding the 'research', as long as it 'looks' legit enough or is said often enough….that's fine.

Figurative speech. Some have heard if it.

        • @cheepwun: It's all you have to prove your point though, made up bull shit.

        • @FabMan:
Figurative speech. Some have heard of it.

The point is flying well above your head…or more likely you have nothing of substance to respond with so nitpicking about figurative speech is your bag. Lame..

Don't use all your downvotes at once.
          https://ehtrust.org/science/peer-reviewed-research-studies-o…

        • @cheepwun: How is that site different from the ones I posted above, considering both our sites link to the WHO as evidence?

    • The article you linked is biased towards showing that Wi-Fi is bad for you.

Cell Phones and Wi-Fi in the class 2B also includes Caffeine, which is consumed in vast quantities around the world and also includes pickled vegetables. By just stating 2B they hope to cause alarm.

    • Haha lol name a console that has ‘microwave-free gaming’

      • -2

My xbox 360 E with removed wifi module and rf module, using wired xbox official controllers.

Ps2. Ps1. Gamecube. Early failure-prone Xbox 360 models. Just about all gaming consoles in history before this era. Also portables with wireless features turned off. PSP. DS family. Gameboy family…and earlier.

Sometimes you need to go back to go forward. Users shouldn't have 100% wired choices taken away from them. The PC doesn't restrict you like this. Earlier consoles had wireless addons without sacrificing 100% wired play. The choice was there. Now it's gone.

All users now are exposed to damaging microwaves. Even if they go wired. Despite knowing about negative health effects.

It's cheaper through their eBay store for $474.05 Shipped with the code P5OZZIE. You may change the deal to this if you wish :)

    • You bloody legend!

      • And cashrewards 1% cash back.

@stuhtb: if you contact eb games via their ebay portal you still are entitled to your carrots

        • @Shepard: Thank you, haven't used their eBay store yet so didn't know you can still do that :)

        • @stuhtb: no worries. neither did i until i got the bundle on black friday!

  • Appears to be out of stock on their ebay store

  • For anyone wanting to trade in Morrowind I read that both JB and EB won't accept it. I don't know if this is actually correct but thought I'd mention it just in case. Mentioned here by ElectroGhoul:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/347041

    and also here by z1010:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/344149

    • I asked today and it was confirmed that they won't take Morrowind for trade. The other games I was quoted $16 + $13 + $23 (sorry can't remember which was which but I think GT was the $23).

  • Would I be able to price match on Harvey Norman?

  • That listing has ended. New listing has shipping charge.

  • Missed my own deal.. ended up getting from the store at $499. Still pleased with it

    • +1

      Not sure if the original $499 deal is still available and refunds are allowed, however you may be able to get this at a similar price through this method;

      1. Purchase 5 X $100 EB Games 5% discounted GC's through Cashrewards
      2. Comes down to a total of $475 for $500.
      3. Use these gift cards to pay in store as you can't pay with GC's online anyway I believe?

Please correct me if there are any special requirements for using EB Games gift cards or restrictions in place.
