  I don't know if this should still be classed as a bargain, it's more like a 'see who can get there the earliest' competition. The last one of these events started at 9am, but if you weren't there by 5am you weren't anywhere near the front of the line.

  Nice price on the 42" Panasonic LCD but they don't specify the model, could be old stock, and the fact that you need to queue for hours just to have a chance means i'll be giving this a miss.

  not really a bargain compare to the eagle farm one… especially the sony digital photo frame. was selling $68 but it's selling $87 now. hmmm…

  As this is not available in all states and this forum is open to everyone nationally (and internationally) you should put QLD ONLY..

  Not everyone (like myself) knows where Southport is..

    Thats what they said at the eagle farm event. In fact when I was lining up at the gate to get in they told me that all the sales reps have been told to do deals since all of the good stuff had been sold. Well I didn't see any evidence of any sales person happy to negotiate at all.

    This sale isn't as good as eagle farm. Any chance of an extended list of items on sale like they had for eagle farm?

  False advertising there. The Sony NEX-3 camera pictured there says "Full HD Movie Record" but only the more expensive NEX-5 model supports 1080p. The NEX-3 (pictured) only does 720p recording. I think the same thing goes for the Panasonic camera (I don't think any Lumix camera records in 1080 but I could be wrong on this one).

  not really worth the effort on this one, few cameras quite cheap but nothing really else sticks out.
