50% off for the first month. It is effectively the same as Uber and just got released in Sydney. Finally some competition for Uber!

Just took a trip this morning. Both driver and me are on our first taxify trip. Happy with the 50% off discount. Do riders get rating from drivers after the trip as well?
Thanks for giving us a crack! Yes, riders and drivers are asked to provide a rating.
Hey rep, why am I not seeing my referral credit within the app? Have done 10+ referrals but I'm yet to see any credit. I asked the same questions via your 'typically responds within 6 hours' support page but am still waiting to hear back!
Just did 2 trips this morning - no difference to Uber ( except 50% less fare lol ) , the drivers are Uber drivers too.
In QLD at least, ubers have to display uber window stickers when they are online. It will be funny when there is more competition in the market how many stickers they'll end up with for being signed into multiple apps…..uber, taxify, gocatch, etc.

Prior to the first of October 2017 generic signage could be used which made sense, they could have continued with this and given each driver a unique identifier and signage to use via Queensland Transport but the brilliant minds in Government instead decided to have each share ride company having to register it's driver with Queensland Transport so if you have a driver who works with six companies he is registered six times with a different identifier for each company and the best decision was of course to require each driver to display the share ride logo on a sign at least 146mmx146mm on each company they are driving for.
So if you drive for six you have to fill your passenger side front and back windscreens with a block that is around 500mm x 300mm.
"Generic signage is not permitted for drivers who provide services for multiple booked hire entities, and if a driver is
operating through multiple applications or platforms at the same time, the driver must display the relevant signage
for each entity.
The signs may not be placed in a way that obstructs the driver’s view of the road or traffic."https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/ehq-production-austr…
Smarties in TMR make it hard to share links by using generic AWS links. This is the source of the link http://personalisedtransport.tmr.qld.gov.au/Vehicle-signage
where abouts (high level description) ?
Is this 50% off for one month from the date you sign up… or from today… or all of December?
For me it showed up as half price until Jan 12th. Perhaps try it yourself and if yours shows Jan 13th we’ll know the answer!
Has this been confirmed? I.e. is it 50% off for first month from join date or is the month start date a general date from Taxify?
Can this ride share be paid using bitcoin ?
Any Taxify drivers in the Gold Coast?
Sydney & Melbourne only atm.
How do their prices compare with UberX?
Can I get tax invoices for my rides like I do with Uber. I need those in order to claim it back from my employer.
After taking a taxify from the airport, I can say the answer is Yes.
However, one place where it lacks against Uber is that I don't get any Qantas frequent flyer points for using Taxify; whereas I get points for using Uber. So, I think I'm going to stick with Uber for trips to and fro the airport. Other trips, I might consider Taxify.
seems like the exact same system as what uber has been doing. rating, etc.
Taxifyeat coming soon????
This has the same base fare, cost/min and cost/KM as uberX.
Good to have another choice when Uber has a surge pricing. Would like to see how they perform after the 50% offer is done. uber still have the bigger driver network though
they say they will be 5% cheaper after the 50% off offer. If the base rates are the same I'm not sure how they will make that happen.
Do the $5 credits stack or can they only be used one at a time?
Where in the app can you see your credit earned through referrals? I’ve referred a few people, some already tried it out yesterday but nothing yet in the app (I haven’t made a booking myself yet).
No drivers at all near hurstville and kogarah atm. Hurry up and sign up more drivers so we have more options.
So hard to get a taxify car at the moment …..hopefully it will improve overtime
Has anyone used their credit card through the app? Is it considered an international transaction?
I had to allow "Online International Payments" to add my card.
Might need to use 28 degrees
Yep. Seems to be processed in Estonia.
Tried now in Melbourne McKinnon - no drivers available
Thanks Op. Am travelling to Sydney in 2 weeks so I'll try out the service.
Is there a dedicated Sydney domestic airport pickup point?Anyone knows if we can select a car with 6 seats such as UberXL?
Plenty of available drivers in Sydney at the moment, have tried them a few times now! Half price rides are amazing this time of year!
No 50% off rides tonight. Has the deal finished early or is this a new years eve thing?
Still no 50% off rides. Looks like it's expired. Shame they can't even keep their launching promise.
Looks like they disabled for few hours for NYE
Back again on the app
Is the 50% off still on in Sydney? Can I schedule a ride at 4am for the airport like on Uber?
Is this still working?
Hi taxifyau

Can I request child seat?Thanks
