This is a launch promotion since we have recently launched this line and undergone some very heavy product improvement to get the flavours and mixability just right. High quality ingredients (Fonterra Whey, sunflower lecithin and NOT soy in most products). 17 flavours to choose from (more to be added soon).

Oh and we do have a money back guarantee on these products (our 2 scoop guarantee).

Some background: Over a year ago I posted up a forum topic (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/246781) and received some amazing feedback from this OzBargain community about what you were looking for. From this we made a bunch of improvements, the major one being this line of product - launching our own manufacturing facility and producing quality product in-house. NOT easy and VERY expensive to do this properly. This new product line has been very well received so far (our most successful product launch ever actually).

I am extremely grateful for your contribution and hope this is well received. But we are on a mission for continual improvement so I welcome any and all feedback!! Thanks in advance!

  • filthy, just put in an order yesterday afternoon

    • ME TOO! >:(

  • Are any of these products not using sucralose and using stevia instead? Also do you have unflavoured?

    • Yes we do have natural versions in everything. Just look for the natural version, as this is a different product which uses Stevia 98A (the highest grade stevia) instead of sucralose. Unflavoured we don't offer as a standard, but you can use the custom blending to create your own unflavoured version. This will also be 20% off with this special.

  • Hey Jay

I bought some of your chocolate micellar casein. butit tastes very bland compared to the ON Chocolate Casein which I usually buy.

Are there any better flavours that taste more similar to ON Casein?

    Thanks

    • Thanks for the feedback Leeson865. Sorry to hear you weren't completely happy with it. Do you have any suggestions for improvement? A stronger taste? More chocolatey or sweeter etc?

Would love to take your feedback on board so we can perfect the range.

By the way, don't forget we have our 2 scoop guarantee if you did want to return it.

I've tried the ON Casein and they have some good flavours. With the AZ Casein, I was really impressed with how the banana turned out, (I'm a big banana fan). Choc coconut is really good too. And I found a number of the "fruity" flavours turned out great (passionfruit is very good…but not something you get in ON proteins).

      • Thanks for replying! Here's the best feedback I can give:

Flavour: I think it's not rich/chocolatey enough, it just tastes like sugar with a small hint of chocolate. ON Casein is a very deep, rich chocolate in the "Chocolate Supreme" flavour.

Consistency: I also found it didn't thicken up much when it was blended which was sort of disappointing. With the ON Casein, you can blend it into a smooth mousse like texture, sort of also like a soft serve ice cream texture. The AminoZ Casein just becomes and ice block when you blend it. Possibly because of Xanthan gum or something in the ON Casein?

Yep, I've requested a refund with the 2 scoop guarantee and been given the shipping label already. Will I get refunded the shipping cost as well?

I might try Chocolate Coconut next time, not a huge fan of banana. Thanks for the tip.

        • Fantastic thanks so much for that feedback. I'm going to have a chat with the team and look into this one. Really appreciate you taking the time to share this.

Also yes, we don't put in Xanthan gum, but you're right this will affect the consistency of the product. It's something we're currently looking into actually. For instance, our WPI is a very thin WPI without the gum in it. I personally like this especially after a workout (and it's very similar to a bunch of other proteins on the market also). But there are several proteins that also use the Xanthan gum to thicken it up.

Yes you'll get a refund on the cost of shipping too but if you wanted to try the Choc coconut you can just ask us to ship out a replacement choc coconut for you to make the process easier if you like.

Any problems feel free to PM me.
