try to find a good price on the 3D stereoscopic version of this game or is that a plugin you can just download, and it's worth buying this one as I'll be able to get the 3d with it?
You're talking about the GOTY version. I recently bought the PS3 GOTY edition from ebay, brand new for $38, including delivery from UK. That's about the cheapest you're going to get it, unfortunately. The retailers just don't have it in stock, as far as I can tell.
You have to get this version for the stereoscopic feature. You can't get it with the regular version.

The deal works out to be about $20, including shipping. You got a good price. Both deals beat paying $120 dollars, though, which I assume was the initial price for it.

Good price, but after shipping it's comparable to the copies for 360 or PS3 on zavvi, which come with EU copies, so you wouldn't be potentially region locked out of DLC.
