Sennheiser PC 373D 7.1 Headphones $186 @ Harvey Norman

50

Looks like a good price for these headphones. Seems to be going elsewhere for around $299 according to Staticice etc. Shipping is $5.95 to metro Melbourne. On clearance, but stock appears to be available at multiple stores at the time of posting.

Super happy with the massdrop pair and warranty. My headset came with a rattle in the right side so I contacted support and they are sending me a brand new one free of charge and I can keep the faulty one! Very pleased. Oh and the headset sounds good to :P

      • That's awesome! Did you have to send them a video or something of the rattle?

        • Nope, took my word. Perhaps it had been reported before.

      • Wow, that's surprisingly good service.

This is the first drop I've participated in, how long does Massdrop usually take to ship to Australia?

Looking at my PayPal email and tracking details it was around 2 weeks.

    • The headset in OP is the same as this but with an additional soundcard. Also, the 8 hours left on the drop is a lie, Massdrop are constantly selling this headset.

  • How does 7.1 in a pair of headphones work…

    • Its virtual 7.1, connects to your computer using a USB port and simulates 7.1 from the 2 headset speakers. I have the astro a50's and the virtual surround sound is pretty impressive. But it wont compare to a true surround sound system for watching movies

  • Thanks for the post OP. I have bought one.

This is the flagship of Sennheiser Gaming Headset. There is noway the Massdrop Sennheiser PC37X can compare to the Sennheiser PC373D from Harvey Norman.

Uhh… If you did your research then you'll find that the PC37X is a revised PC373D made exclusively for Massdrop by Sennheiser. The main thing that was removed was the virtual 7.1 surround sound and instead the PC37X is using the same drivers as the HD598 and HD600.

    • have both. near identical
