I dont think you will find a single HD DVD left in Jb hifi stores.
Could be a chance that other non-jbhifi stores are going to sell theirs off at the same price….but doubt it.
By reading on DTV Forum, I don't think we have any chance.

Saw this on Thursday night. Figured I'd try to get one instore on Friday.
No stock instore and couldn't be ordered anymore Friday afternoon.
However I had left the page open with one in the shopping cart!
So order placed and fingers crossed. :)Any one in here had their orders successful as many people in DTV forums got their orders cancel & alots of them are not happy!
Most of the orders have now been cancelled, even ones that were made before it was even posted here. Looks like JB have done it again!

My order# was 727586 and I ordered about an hour before it went on dtvforum and I called them in the morning to confim my order and they said i should get it, then later in the day I get a cancel email from them >:(
You should complain to a manager or somthing :P Everytime I call and complain to a manager I always get what I want lol!
Wow! I may have to reconsider getting a HD-DVD player just for this! LOL
