  They only sell the 5L for $70 and half of that is $35 which is slightly more expensive than this deal.

Not as cheap as a deal from late last year where they sold 10 ltr of 5w30 Edge for $50. I recall the retail price was $100 bavk then hence the half price discount came down to $50. I guess inflation took a hit.

Over the years I have paid $5-6/litre Synthetic oil and $3/litre on mineral oil. A bit hard to understand SCA and Repco using inflated prices and then reducing them for a promotion. It's going to be hard to compete with irrational pricing in the days to come, especially with overseas giants hungry for Aussie money.
