How is $500 for 6 hours a bargain? It'd want to come with a pretty damn good foot massage for that price.

This helps: Open Bar offering spirits

although i would agree with you i is a massive rip off like almost everything in Sydney - $500 to be on the harbour during the fireworks is pretty cheap but i reckon they will over pack the boat to maximise profit.

They literally rent apartments by the harbour out for 5-50k for NYE - dont ask me who actually rents it but they do

      • The vessel will have occupancy restrictions?

        • Of course

      • True would also like to no what the spirit and beer prices would be im sure it will be double the price you would normally pay. :/

  • Not for me; stuck on a boat for 6 hours with a group of people drinking too much and no means of escape.

    BTW, how does this:
    - Open Bar offering spirits, sparkling, beer, white wine, red wine, juices and soft drinks
    - Standing buffet including platters of fine cheese & antipasti served with a variety of dips & pita breads, a choice of roast main courses, a selection of seafood, a pasta bar, vegetable and salad dishes, a dessert bar and tea and coffee

    Equate with this:
    - Cocktail dining experience with selection of gourmet canapés?

    • no means of escape

You can call a water taxi, I've done it before on a birthday cruise I left.

But you should always think of the positive, no means of escape means the chicks can't go anywhere.

      • +1

I imagine that "the chicks" (as you put it) could also call a water taxi

        • +6

Chicks only take taxis if someone else is paying.
