    thats no rear 'be seen' light by a long stretch….wouldnt even be adequate for paths let alone in traffic where you want maximum visibility.
    maybe in conjunction with other lighting say attached to a backpack or similar but by itself…really?

  I think the random colour refers to the colour of the body, not the light itself.
