Im guessing the lifetime part specifically relates to the discount, not the plan. So in 24months time youll get the same discount on renewal

  • Does it work for Netflix? I can't find it in the list of supported services. Seems strange that it is missing with a name like "Getflix"

It does for some people and not for others. They've been fighting a tough battle against Netflix but to their credit, they've stuck with it.

I'm with Private Internet Access VPN and it doesn't work for netflix…

        • No VPN required here, Getflix's DNS service works for me. I think a lot of the DNS/VPN providers gave up on the constant struggle with Netflix.

      • Netflix still works for us . Hulu has stopped working on the TV but works fine on the mobile though.

If you are hoping to circumvent Netflix geo restrictions with this, note that it requires a bit of work to modify your router and you can only view it on your windows pc. Once they stopped working on a fix for smart TVS, they lost me.

It varies by which server they've allocated you. We no longer need any static routes in the router and Netflix works across all our devices i.e ATV, iPad's, PC and so on…

      • That's interesting. I'll have to try again this weekend.

    • I have the Getflix settings in my router and it was super easy to do. If I have an issue, I just check the numbers on the website for my location. Entering the location in the router means Getflix works across all devices of course.

    • @smokenmirraz Not 100% correct.
This works for literally any device you can manually change your IP/DNS settings.

So it works fine for tablets, phones, computers, consoles…. etc.

Chromecasts are a little more finnicky but it's still doable.

      • Yes, since this deal was posted two weeks ago, I can confirm that it works fine for all devices I have tried. Kudos to getflix :)

        • Yep, for now I suppose.
I've got the "lifetime discount" from a previous Facebook like deal… but I only get 6 months at a time in case Netflix find another way of blocking things!

  • I've been with Getflix for around 4 years. I don't know see Netflix, just their DNS service to get around sport geoblocking. I would definitely look around for a lifetime subscription. Mine was from Stack Social and has already paid for itself vs a yearly subscription.

Mine worked out to be 35AUD for 24 months. Always works great, happy to pay every other year to keep them going.
