Could also price match at AO to get free delivery, installation and free removal of old fridge if necessary.

    • Just saw this in their best price gurantee section

"Price must include all costs including any shipping charges. If the advertised price is for pick-up only we reserve the right to charge a delivery service fee."

I don't have any experience with AO, would they still deliver and install at this same price?

Uhm yeah sure if you think productreviews means anything except that Hisense pay them money I have a bridge to offload.

I'll put my trust in organisations like choice, not all these fake review and comparison sites.

      bridge to offload.

Me too, looks like I'm stuck with these troubled waters..

    • The 50 Cent Party, or 50 Cent Army (Chinese: 五毛党), is the colloquial term for Internet commentators (Chinese: 网络评论员), hired by Chinese authorities in an attempt to manipulate public opinion to the benefit of the Chinese Communist Party[1][2] during the early phases of Internet's rollout to the wider public in China.

The name derives from the allegation that commentators were said to be paid fifty cents (in Renminbi) for every post,[3][4][5] though some speculate that they are probably not paid anything for the posts, instead being required to do so as a part of their official Party duties.[6]

They created favourable comments or articles on popular Chinese social media networks, intended to derail discussions that are unhelpful to the Communist Party and promoted narratives that served the government's interests, together with disparaging comments and misinformation about political opponents and critics of the Chinese government, both domestic and abroad.[7][8][9]

It is also used as a derogatory term against people with perceived pro-CPC or Chinese nationalist views.[10]

    • Hey there, rep from ProductReview here,

I'm sorry you feel that way about our site, I'd like to offer some information to try and bring you around.

While we do offer a service for brands to manage their accounts on ProductReview.com.au, these relationships absolutely do not affect our yearly awards. We have a number of awards given out to businesses or manufacturers that do not use any of our services. The services we offer do not allow any businesses to remove or alter reviews or ratings on our site. The awards are based on the star scores given by our reviewers throughout the year.

If you would like more information on our awards, you can check out our Awards Page.
If you like to know more about our operating procedures and how we publish reviews, I would encourage you to have a look at our Trust Centre. If you have any more questions after reading these articles, feel free to comment and I'll get back to you, or you can email [email protected]

Wouldn't recommend this fridge. Inconsistent cooling and things went bad quite quickly(was never fully stocked or overloaded). Upgraded within a few months to a Westinghouse and very pleased I did.

    • Thanks. Hopefully you're not a 50c soldier for WH 😉

    • Westinghouse hasnt got a good rep anymore either.

  • Decent review from most most people. However this site https://www.canstarblue.com.au/appliances/brands/hisense-fri… stated that: Hisense make good regrigerators but not energy efficiency.

Just want to say, I have this fridge and I'm quite happy with it. Spacious. Quiet (except that one night it sounded like an angry possum lived inside). The reviews don't lie, the ice cube trays are tiny. Bought my own silicon tray that makes giant ice cubes, it's awesome. Having gone from medium ice cubes, to small, to large.. Once you go large you can't go back. So my advice is… Large ice cubes. Large.

    • They take longer to melt and cool your drink.

    • I use 4 lt ice cream buckets for ice cubes.

  • only 2.5 stars energy rating… but the real reason I didn't grab it is because the space in my kitchen is 908 mm, and this fridge is 914…

Way more expensive, check the Mitsubishis. Japan made, 800 wide. 743 litres, 3 grandish. They go deeper and good quality insulation so it can be thinner (at least thats the claim).

Multi drawer things. Oddly, the lowest outside drawer is the crisper, not freezer as I thought. But its the only large fridge I found to fit a smaller fridge space. Doors open on themselves too so dont add much to the width when opening. Often the fridge might be 900 wide, but with doors open they are closer to 920 wide.

      • Deep and thin? Wife disagrees… "Short and thick…. does the trick"

  • Me and 2 other friends all have this same fridge. great fridge holds so much, water tank really handy for cold water during summer

  • I have this fridge, pretty happy with it. Hard to get the plastic-y taste out of the water cooler, but other than that it's fantastic value.

  • Back to $999

    • Back down to $794 again - I'm going to go have a look at one later today. Great price (especially with the Amex deal).
