Agreed. Black Friday is so close, and its almost a sure thing that prices are only going to get better heading into it.
Had one installed in my 27" iMac a year ago its a ripper at that price.

Trust me I already know not to get married.
Mine died after about 9 months. Tried everything but lost all my data. Crucial were no help. Warranty doesn't cover it.
All of the hdd/ssd manufacturers dont cover the data.
I think I prefer the Samsung 850 1TB for an extra $50 ($365 futu using ping20)on ebay. local warranty.

Yep the 850 is better, the MX is slightly bigger at 1050GB.

it's to a point with SSD that wait for that final saving is like waiting for condoms to get cheaper so you can grab a bargain and have sex ….. all our PCs and laptops are on SSD now and it's soooo nice.
Not too bad, but I'd look on ebay or gumtree for something similar under 250 near new or less, secondhand.
I think its probably best to hold out for black Friday sales unless you need it asap.
