      facebook required

Facebook is required for modern life in general.

      • Once I heard that big companies don't hire people without a FB profile. They consider these people weirdos.

        • +1

Wow thanks for the advice millennial

  • +3

    5pm-8pm.
    Canberra Centre (until 5:30pm)

Lol the whole 100 people in ACT will only get half an hour for their enchiladas!!

    But seriously, why only 5-8pm?

    • +1

BB…B..BUZZ KILL - Belco is also in canberra - they have 2 shops listed - there is another in gungahlin but its not on the list

    • +2

Ugh right as work finishes for a significant chunk of the city too. It's gonna be a bloodbath. See you guys in the pit

    • Which food court is MM located in?

  • +1

What do we screen shot exactly?

    • +2

      Your bank account details

    • c'mon bruh…

You could do it like this https://imgur.com/a/d71YX fits on a single A4 page in Word and shows your name, a tiny version of your profile picture (if you are depicted in your profile pic), the 'screenshot me' part and that you've ticked interested, at least while you took the screenshot anyway.

or just show them on your phone to remove any doubt that you're the same person as in the screenshot. On iphone Home + Power at the same time if they absolutely insist it be a screenshot

      • +3

So ozbargain just need the one screenshot for all of us? And yeah, that little blurry blob is me.

FB has proper redemption systems for these sort of things, so its either they don't really care and we don't need really screens to redeem. Or the promotion is going to be a (profanity) up.

      • Thank you kind sir for the screenshot :) I was about to ask if there was a way to do this with no facebook.

    • show this offer - (so screenshot me) at any participating Mad Mex - just show the offer.

how many overweight ozbargainers will like this post…..oh wait

  • I feel like there may be some T&C's we don't have yet, possibly advising there is a fixed limit to the amount of free enchiladas available per store

On the facebook page it has two *'s next to the 5pm-8pm event time in the Details section but no further information at the bottom as to what the *'s are for. Quite possibly it's just to note that some stores close earlier than 8pm but you have to wonder…could just as easily be "until supplies are exhausted. 100 free units per store only"

  • I guess the westfield one isn't participating?

    • +1

Sydney? Westfield is called Sydney central plaza store. Under Myer food court.

  • +2

If your keen, sydney airport has 3 store locations.

  • Thanks, there's one around the corner of my building :)

  • +2

I believe you need to click “Going” to RSVP rather than “Interested”

    • Correct. Thats what the instructions say

  • +1

    Good one. Thx OP

  • +2

limit one per customer? how many participating restaurants can you visit in 3 hours? The challenge is on!

    • How many full-sized enchiladas can you stomach?

      • If its anything like Guzman y Gomez's burrito bowls, then 3. Then again, their freebies was for the whole day, so easier to pace and spread out a couple hours.

  • How are the queues at Flinders Lane shop?

  • Adelaide City Cross store is not in the list :( .. too bad

  • +1

Cheers OP, picked up some chicken enchiladas from
the store on Flinders Lane 😁

    • How was the queue? about to go there in a bit

      • +2

There was no queue at all at 5:14pm when I was there

        • +1

          Cheers mate (Y)

  • Can you do takeaway? Also anyone managed to get one for their kid? Mine uses facebook more than me!

    • Yes available for takeaway

  • +1

Walked in to the Garden City Brisbane store at 5:15. No queue but a few freebies being prepared. Friendly staff member took an obligatory photo of me enjoying myself😁
    Tasty🍴

    • yum

    • +1

Full price is $14.90. it was pretty good tasting, however if I ever need food at a shopping centre I'd probably get KFC or Subway as they are both cheaper

  • Chicken or beef or pork? Or vegetarian? :/

  • +1

    Central Station

Go there with popcorn and a chair watch the chaos evolve

  • +1

Got it at flinders lane - @ 510ish, probs about 6 people in queue.

  • It's legit- Garden City 5:45pm and tiny queue.

  • Oh man that was rubbish. Who would pay for that?

It was worth every cent I paid and nothing more.

Taken the crown of worst Mexican in Sydney from Guzman.

  • +3

Amazing for free but not at all worth $15

    • +1

      Agreed. $15???? OMG.
It was ok. Had the pulled beef and to be honest…with everything in there…it was all pretty bland…and I'm not one for salt.

Just a whole lot of messy meh to be honest. The Taco I've tried before and was tasty. Not sure i'd go back again for this…even for a free one.

  • +1

Well I had an awful day and missed my planned 5pm appearance and then tried to shows up at 8:20 only to be reminded the deal was 5-8pm only.

However the guy at the Mad Mex Belconnen store said that this will be on for the next two Thursdays, so there's that

  • The store at Sydney Central Plaza ran out of tortilla so they couldn't make any more enchilada, instead they offered 50% off everything on the menu (still need to show Facebook page).
