Lol one of my sarcasm meters just blew up , i'm looking at you JV
Read the voucher…
Present this voucher when you purchase a large milkshake at your nearest Donut King and get a Basic
Hot Dog for just $1.(There's no punctuation in the sentence, so you can purchase the milkshake and donut for $1…)
Schweet! , me read vouchers hmm okay good point lol
Although your assuming the people working, are aware of punctuation ?
The voucher says that you need to hand over the voucher when you purchase a milkshake and you can then get a hotdog for $1
exactly…
it says you purchase a milkshake and you can then get a hotdog for $1…
that's cheap !!!
it says you purchase a milkshake and you can then get a hotdog for $1…
Yes the hotdog is $1
You cannot get a milkshake and hotdog for $1 as you originally said
Probably not, but by the wording, it can be interpreted that way…
I do not see how it can be interpreted that way.
You need to hand over the voucher when you purchase a milkshake. Purchasing the milkshake means you are buying it from the menu board and paying what they are asking.
When you purchase the milkshake and hand over the voucher you can buy a hotdog for $1
"When you purchase the milkshake and hand over the voucher you can buy a hotdog for $1"
It doesn't say that on the voucher, it says that you purchase a milkshake and get a Basic Hot dog for $1… :P
Not if you know how to speak English, you can't. (ie if you know what "and" means.) Trying to twist it like that is ridiculous.
I speak Australian…
It says "you purchase a milkshake and get a Basic Hot dog for $1"
I don't see what 'and' has to do with it…
Australian is based on English rules, and it's very simple stuff. PURCHASE a milkshake (one part of the sentence) AND (here comes another bit!) get a hotdog for a dollar.
So you PURCHASE (this means "buys" as in "pay money for") and then you also get something else (that's what the "and" bit does) for a dollar.
purchase a large milkshake at your nearest Donut King and get a Basic Hot Dog for just $1
you must be reading a different voucher…
We admire your eye for a bargain jv but the discount is definitely "purchase a large milkshake at your nearest Donut King and get a Basic Hot Dog for just $1" - meaning you can get the hot dog for $1 after paying regular price for the milkshake. If we did a hot dog and a milkshake for $1 we'd be out of business before you could get in store!
A spectaularly information-free subject line.
Rep, it cant hurt to brush up on the posting rules http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:title_guidelines
Duly noted. Thanks Anthony.
wendy's supashakes are the bomb. am drinking one right now!
Was thinking that too,
Bomb Definition
2) Any of various weapons detonated to release destructive material, such as smoke or gas
Wont be sitting next to you on the bus lol
Next time include the shops name in the title or atleast the desc. The user's name doesn't show up in rss feed.
wendy's hotdogs are better too
yuk!
hot dogs with a milkshake!?what obesity problem?
from the pdf "*Offer includes a large milkshake and a basic hot dog only."
i take that as hotdog and milkshake for $1.
You'd think so…
it clearly says when you purchase, do some work JV and stop tempting me with free milkshakes :)
bring back the 6 hot cinnamon donuts for $2!!!!!!!!
bring it back.
hey, why don't Donut Kings vouchers include Brisbane airport?
Part of a condition the government up their had to agree to with the independents…
maybe put in the title how much the whole lot will cost
a heart attack , oh you meant financially hmm
It would be hard if different stores charge different prices.
i used this voucher for lunch, it cost $6.00 all up :)
did you get 6 milkshakes and 6 hot dogs ?
No jv
He hard to PURCHASE a milkshake, then hand over the voucher and then pay $1 for the hotdog.
Just as the voucher says.he paid twice? what a rip-off… Next time, go to Wendys…
meh not great. hoddogs are cheap as chips because they are full of mystery meat stuffed inside a 20c bun. And eating a hotdog with a milkshake is just wrong..
bring back a good donut deal please =D. Also, milkshakes are too expensive they should be $3.50 max
Can the voucher be used with a "Quakeshake"?
WOW A hot dog AND a milkshake for $1 !!!
